Had no idea there were security issues in the past. There will always be immature jerks who feel entitled to spoil it for everyone else.
Love The GovA few days ago there was a thread on the TGB concerning M&G. I have never attended one. Does anyone know if there will be a M&G scheduled for Charlotte or Raleigh soon? Better yet are their any volunteers who might organize one?

Recap of carolinas M&G... again lol!- myself and our then Board Moderator planned amd excuted a successful small MG here in Charlotte several years ago.
Planned another which was sabotaged by *someone* calling around to popular bars around Charlotte and warning them of the party. It got back to the right bar and the manager called the girl helping planning it to ask if she knew anything. Had to cancel it.
Tried once more, again for Charlotte. (This made it easier for both NC/SC as well as ATL peeps to attend) word got around that a guys email was gotten into by his wife and they were talking about it on the radio. We couldn't 100% verify it but also had no way to figure out for sure what guy, or could rescreen everyone in time etc, had to cancel it like the day before. I dont regret the decision, I'll always put everyones safety first. Can you imagine not just LE but news people showing up?
So if anyone wants to do one I'd suggest keeping it a very private, invite only, off the board king of thing. And good luck! I still attend other M&Gs but I don't know whether I'd plan one again personally. theres some serious HATERS here that like to cause trouble.
