In a similar situation as you last year.  Didn't have a problem and I agree with the previous post.  It's all in building rapport (with a little bit of trust!)

I recently took a voluntary layoff with a 6 figure severance payment and, consequently, am enjoying some time off with no $$ worries. In the meantime, I've tried hooking up with some ladies in the area that I haven't seen before but have received no replies to my emails. Its not unusual for email not to be returned, I know you are all busy, but I am wondering if it is in part because I can no longer give an employment reference?

If my fear is true then this is a bummer - how do I celebrate my windfall?!

But, in my case: yes, I have had the pleasure of entertaining gentlemen who have the luxury of not having to be technically `employed' in the traditional sense. It's up to the individual lady--and what she's comfortable with--of course; but some ladies will work with you, and attempt to come up with another mutually satisfactory way to screen you  (and therefore ascertain whom you `aren't') other than providing a traditional office number.

You might just want to contact those ladies in whom you do have interest, explain your situation, and see who might be willing/able to work with you:)

Unemployed just does not sound very enticing under any circumstance.  Use another term like self employed and working from the home, semi-retired, on sabatical or retired.

I am self employed working from the home, but have actual company phone listing, business cards, letterhead the whole nine yards, as well as examples of my work.  Some providers are uneasy if you say you are a one person business working from the home, but I always seem to get the opportunity to see who I want.

I'm also in a simular situation. I have investment income that I receive from rents ect...It is VERY hard for me to see providers that havn't met me before. I find that it is easier to stick with the few "regulars" that I see, due to the rigorous screening process many providers have. I also find that for variety, trips to TJ help to supplement. Also out of town providers (usually from the bay area)where I'm from, are willing to see me.
I tried to schedule an appointment with the "true gfe" who has posted below, to know avail. I was polite, straight forward with my situation, & included my ter nickname. I received know response. I find that very rude. I also realize that providers do hold the right to see, & respond to who ever they want. That said, I do have a long memory. When I go back to work "real estate" and do have a "employer ph#" I will not be calling the providers who didn't take the time to respond to my inqueries, & that treat you like you don't exist. My hard earned money will be spent on the ladies who have courtesy, respect, & a proper sense of business etiquite.
Frankly the screening process is getting out of hand. I don't like to "schedule" 2 days in advance, I don't like providing 3 years of tax returns, but I have, just to be flexible and accomidating. I certainly don't like providing an employers ph#, which I have written about before. I don't like the provider knowing everything about me, last name, home phone, were I may work, that ph#. I, Know nothing of you, the provider, maybe we should begin sharing information both ways.
In short, since I feel that I'm barking up a tree, I will continue to give my business to the ladies south of the border, and to the 6-7 "regulars" that I see locally. So "like them small" I advise you to stick with the ladies you've seen, go to TJ if you can get away unnoticed, and see the out of town/just visiting girls.

your lastname and ethnicity don't pass her criteria.  I personally don't agree with that policy.

However, since some hobbyists only see ladies of one ethnic group, I think it is definitely her right to choose what kind of men she will like to meet.  At least she is upfront about it.

She also is not super strict with those guidelines either. She saw me when I was 34.  I know that she has had problems with email in the past. It's possible that she never got your email and you didn't see her post here that she was having problems with it. I believe that I have seen her post that she was having problems with email on more than one occasion. It's just a possibility. I hope that I'm not stepping on any toes here.

board several months ago and double checked them myself.  Age restriction is probably not strictly enforced.  However, the ethnicity part would be different.

I am sure she is quite popular otherwise she won't have all the high ratings: http://theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?id=9369

This is a very intimate business.  As I mentioned before, JMHO, ladies like hobbyists should have every right to choose their clients.

TrueGFE this is the time to clear up the misinformation - broadcast fashion - do you see only caucasian males who are over 35? Speak now for this is your chance

In earlier posts (going back a ways).

I've never seen her, but I'll say this about Ashlee, as well as any other providers out there -

If they make their preferences known publicly, as many do, then it's really not proper to question one provider's policies in this public forum.

I've held back posts that have been mildly inflamatory with this issue, and I've allowed this one to progress to this point.

I don't agree with some of the screening policies some ladies have, and many of you don't agree either. However, this thing we call "hobbying" is a choice, on both sides. Respect the choices of others.

If you want a generalized discussion about why providers have certain policies, as long as it doesn't get personal-I'm ok with it. Now it's getting too personal.

Enough said?

Are'nt we crossing the boundaries on this Trent Lott Thing a bit much? lol.

If a provider referral would be good enough for the person
you want to see, I would be happy to give you one. Just
email or call me.  bl
