I've been involved in the hobby on and off for 15 years and have been on and off the Board too.   Obviously, I am on again.   It seems like most of the activity has migrated to lower end and riskier outlets that I would prefer not to use, and a lot of my references are out of the business.  I have been fortunate that  two providers have been willing to see me with happy results for all involved, but I  would like to not have to go through the hassle every time   Can anyone tell me (a) what the best verification service is, (2) how I go about getting verified by datecheck or preferred411 or whatever the majority of providers use,and (3) is it really safe to give these organizations your personal information.   Looking forward to receiving the wisdom of the community.
