Suggestion and Policy

TER needs to be more newbie friendly with moving posts around.

Many times a newbie who is still learning the ropes and probably hasn't mastered all the boards and etiquette yet will post a newbie type question on the GD Board or Regional board.

Posters on the GD Board in particular will flag the post and have it moved to the newbie board. What purpose does it serve to move a thread to the newbie board?

The OP will visit the board he originally posted looking for an answer to his question and will think his post didn't go up or was removed. I don't think the OP will visit other boards looking for his original post. Chances are slim he understands how to use the My TER feature to see what happened to his post, most TER vets don't even know about such a feature.

My suggestion would be to leave a newbie type post on the original board posted on with a simple reply to post next time on the newbie board. Another suggestion would be to move the thread to the newbie board but leave the original post up on the original board with a reply for the newbie to visit his thread on the newbie board for answers.

If you want to know where your posts are -   simply click on account manager and then click on My Board Posts.  Voila.   It shows where they are.  In my opinion, more posts should be moved to newbie and ISO boards, not less.

by simply sending a message/email from support to the OP whose post was moved.  he will know whare to look for answers and it is really irrelevant for others.
