My posts have been on Google, copied from TER and added to other websites discussing the particular issue I was commenting on, etc.  I'm involuntarily on many US and Eurpoean boards.  I'm sure it's the same for many.

The net is an open forum, what do you expect?  Privacy?

I type in Harrylime.  I can find my posts from the current TER national discussion board.

Just imagine the next time you apply for a loan or mortgage,
renew your driver's licence, or try to join the church choir...

They will step back upon the first mention of your name,

"so, your The TER HARRY?"

why certainly Moe,,,,nuknuknuk

Everyone's just wild about Harry.

Tally-Ho!...and Cheerio Harry Lime.

... I'm not by the way.  Anybody can figur out you log onto the ter website.  they will not find my password.  However, they can see a page that says I have ## reviews.  Not good in a divorce situation...

they'd have to already know that you do, and with that userename, in order to bother searching in the first place.  Hopefully you haven't let that information fall into the wrong hands.

It's sometimes annoying that there's no such thing as privacy on the Web, but that's the way it is.  All we can do is conduct ourselves guided by that knowledge.  Of all the worries I have in life, someone typing Dionisios into a search engine and finding the "real life" me is way off the bottom of the list.
