Yes, Smitty, I read her post. I remember when Stacy first appeared on the scene as Hottmassagegrl, among much skepticism by hobbyists. I have watched her grow as a provider, go through some personal challenges, and emerge victorious on the other side, get
in the middle of some other controversies, etc. Now as I read her posts, I wonder if she might have a ghostwriter, LOL. She sure has come a long way.

Now, as to her words of wisdom. To me, her opening line fits my situation to a tee when she says "GET A LIFE". You mentioned enjoying my posts, although you thought some might have been a bit misguided. I agree that maybe there were from your perspective. As I mentioned to a seasoned veteran hobbyiest in a recent thread, I come from a different, and probably more narrow perspective, not being a participant in the hobby.

I think that if the boards become a life for someone, hobbyiest or otherwise, it is time to move on. For me, that time has come. I have gotten all that I can from the boards and appreciate you guys and gals who have enjoyed my ramblings. I have referred to the hobby as "the lifestyles of the rich and famous", a fantasy kind of thing. I feel I must either turn fantasy into reality, or return to Kansas.

Be well folks, play safe, and again, PLEASE treat each other with respect and human dignity.......OMR

This need not be drawn out as I usually dont much on this board. My paid subscription to the other board has expired, and I dont seem to have access to the public board now either. My reasons are pretty well known among you as many of you know me from the other board. I just wanted to thank all who do for their tolerance over the past three years of lurking.

Please enjoy this hobby of yours, please respect and treat each other with respect due one human being to another.

Your friend.....Oldmanriver.....who will just keep rollin along.

OMR: I don't really think you're leaving us! Say it ain't so!

All the best to you...

You really shouldn't let those "nebobs of negativity "get to you. I always appreciated your input, even though I thought it may have been misguided at times.
It is unfortunate that arrogance and somtimes ignorance seems to rule on these boards.
I think it would be wise for everyone to read what Stacy had to say. I know it may take a little time, but it is worth it.

I agree with Smitty everybody should read what stacy wrote.Honey please put up the link to it for those people that missed it,Love,Grayeyed Nicolexoxoxox

Hi OMR, I've been a silent admirer of your posts for quite a while. I have never felt that one had to partake of the hobby to be a valuable contributor to this community. When it comes to this community it really is no different than any other. Call it alternative lifestyles if you wish, call it whatever you want. It's about common sense, caring about the other person, communication, respect, understanding the wants and needs of others, and fulfilling those wants and needs. You don't need to participate in the hobby to have insight into how one should treat another human being.

In my eyes, your always welcome here.
