I have been a long time resident of Kansas City, MO with a stellar reputation in and around KC.
However, next week I will be loading up and moving to North Carolina to be closer to my family there. I won't be going to "work" immediately when I arrive there. Family needs have to come first. However, I am looking forward to finding out all I can about my new home. I can't say for sure yet where I will be settling - most likely Raleigh or Durham.
I would love to have some input from both ladies and gents - good areas to look for apartments in Raleigh and Durham, best sites for advertising and reviews, preferred verification site - P411 vs Date-check, etc.
Looking forward to hearing some responses and getting to know my new community!

I believe between Raleigh and Durham, literally, you can't go wrong. All of the sites you mentioned are excellent for screening.

Welcome to our slice of heaven. We Are all glad to have you here in the triangle area. There are lots of great places to live in the area. Not to be biased, but Raleigh and Cary are the two best places to settle down if you're looking to move to the triangle. Do you also plan on providing out of the area? If so I can go ahead and tell you the best two areas to hold in calls would be either in the RTP/RDU area, or in the Crabtree valley mall area. Stephanie, SC, and some of the other girls can agree with me on that. And for goodness sakes , AVOID Capitol Blvd at all costs !!! As for screening service, it's a mixed bag. There are some who prefer Date-Check, and some who prefer P411. I prefer Date-Check myself.
