I really don't understand about all the different posts I read about men lacking providers and hoping someone "special" will tour there.
All you gentlemen have to do is:
1) pick a lady.
2) ask her to visit
3) have fun!
Simple as 123 but please understand scheduling is typically key so as much advance notice we have the better, also understand that there are minimum requirements for us to go see you.
To invite the lady that tickles your fancy so much that you can't stop looking or thinking about her to your city!
Now granted, it's takes planning ahead and yes even waiting at times, of course saving a few extra silver pieces for extended dates, however the rewards of spending time out and about besides BCD is a very erotic experience.
In addition you often repeat and every part of the relationship grows.
The only downside is, you may not play as often as you did with single hour dates. This obviously is not for every gent and some will disagree entirely. Just my opinion and works for me.
I must also add, in my case I do a little of both, I just don't stop seeing my local long time favorites, and once in a while try to see new local ladies!

wouldn't it just make sense to get a non refundable deposit to cover travel costs. I'm thinking that would give both of you some skin in the game ......... or is that a bad term?
