Every lady I visit gets a little memento, some also chocolates. A select few burn one with me.

For some reason the thread on collecting has stuck with me, even tho I'm not a collector.  But let me ask this: Is there a flip side?

We all know that hobbyists sometimes take flowers, candy, etc. to providers. We can leave that aside. Do you, hobbyists, ever take a permanent memento of yourself to leave with a provider, and if so, what?  Do you do it with all providers that you see or most?  And providers, have hobbyists given you mementos?  (Let's all exclude that damned Timex in the back of the nice lady's drawer.)

I dry all the flowers given to me and make arrangements or wreaths out of them.  I also have a collection of roses given to me that I have dried and stick in a beautiful vase as a reminder of the sweethearts out there :)
That is probably the main thing I collect, although I have numerous other gifts from thoughtful clients who have gotten to know me through time and know what to look for (books, CD's, windchimes, garden items, candles, and all kinds of knick knacks that are throughout my house)
The most personal gift was an acoustic guitar that meant alot to the person who gave it away, only catch is, I have to play something new each time we meet :)

If I may ask, how does one find you?

It's funny you should mention that watch...I left my watch behind a few weeks ago, and the lady in question and I have not managed to get the three of us (me, her and my watch) together again.  We seem to be managing two out of three, but the stars just haven't aligned yet.  She tells me her cat keeps pulling it out of the place she's been keeping it.

have included nice bottles of wine, spa treatments, many trips and a beautiful full length mink coat.

I am afraid some of my gifts might be permanent momentos.  I try to see the remainder of the chocolate on their hips the next visit.

A smile on their face for next time we meet.

I have found being clean, with money available, on time and in a good mood has been the most appreciated gift I have ever given.

I've only given "permanent" gifts a few times:  a cute stuffed puppy, a very nice crystal paperweight that was rather sensual if you thought about it, and a nice set of three candle holders.

I hesitate about giving permanent items since it might not be something she actually appreciates. But I often wonder how much flowers or chocolate is too much.  Sometimes I think tipping is better so they can just get whatever they want.
