You probably can turn up more from Google. I would start with Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Preserve. I've been to the museum in Guadalupe where they have an exhibit. I don't think anyone will tell you the exact location because of fear of vandals.

And I'm glad to know which movie set it was after all these years, thanks.  (It doesn't matter if Angelica tortures me in Cleopatra's House or Pharoh's as long as it's not my little apartment.)
I think it's a tourist trap waiting to happen but the cost of digging that thing up would be huge.  Believe me the residents of Guadalupe have thought of the possible revenue, I'm sure.  Nothing is visible from the surface.  Even if you knew where the set was it's not like you could take a shovel and go for artifacts...well, maybe if you were Steve McQueen.
Right now it's a beautiful beach with very few visitors because as you drive there you have to enter a gate and pass through some sort of business.  I don't know what it is, landscaping sand collectors or Keebler elves training in desert conditions or whatever.  You get off the 101 at Santa Maria and take the Main Street to the ocean.  The town of Guadalupe is tiny and has a good teachers in the schools and a great steak house, Jocko's.  Mmmm.  Red meat.
 What am I, Charles Kuralt?

all that for a 5 looks 7 perfomance....I bet that guy is a writer, if he isn't he should be. He has a way with words.

I don't think a 7 rating is so bad.  I like a "hot time"!  But I hear what you're saying...  ("with so many choices in L.A....." etc.)
I'm pretty green at our hobby and didn't want to blow my "rating-wad" too early, so to speak.  ie: If I start giving 9's and 10's right off the bat...where do I go when things exceed my first reviews?
But most importantly, if I have a message here, I've got to say that a rating, to me, is a reflection of what I bring into a session as well as what the provider provides me with.  How was the chemistry that day?  Tomorrow could be different.  I'm personally looking for a little personal connection with my other joys.  Maybe a gal who gets my sense of humor (not always an easy thing to do)  Maybe someone who can crack a joke  herself.  Or if a fella is full of newbie jitters is that her fault?  Sure it'd be nice if she has the interpersonal skills to put a guy at ease but... who knows?
A guy's ratings, if we like it or not, can reflect HIS skills and performance on that day, in those hours, as well.
I consider myself a work in progress in this hobby!  Working my way up, so to speak, in nerves and self-education so someday very soon I can enjoy my time with a...let's say... netmichelle or a sedonasandiego kinda gal!   I'm lookin' forward to it.
A 7 rating doesn't mean I don't recommend someone...  Infact I fully intend to return to my first providers.  I'm sure the ratings will rise...(among other things.)
