Me its called common sense ;)

Looks like Obama found his fall guy. He can now continue to plead ignorance. But of course "it will never happen again".

In the eyes of people who do not support him but at now you know how I felt for 8 years of Bush.  If Obama would have let him stay, it a coverup...now he fired the guy...its a coverup.
LMAO

with new "toys" at their disposal.

I'm sure if this guy is taking a fall, he will be well taken care of by the administration.  That's the way things work in Washington, no matter who is President.

But seriously, how did this guy (or whoever ordered the crazy stunt) ever think he could get away with this?

The amount of money that is just tossed away by our government is mind-boggling.  One "photo op" cost more than most working Americans make in 10-20 years of hard work.

Obama and losing now that is a concept that I can get behind!  2012

Do you really think that someone at the forefront of such a graceful presidential campaign could really be behind such a major fuck-up over a silly photo-op?  Please.  I think the whole thing was designed to make the POTUS look foolish and to throw him off balance.  There were, after all, much more important things going on within that same week.  The timing of it all was very strange.

designed by whom? His own hand-selected aide?

And what was so "graceful" about his campaign, and what would that have to do with incompetence in this regard anyway?

oalexander1174 reads

Who ever had something to gain from it and the access to pull it off... that's who.  Other people have said stranger things on this board and are celebrated for it, so please...

What wasn't graceful about his campaign?  I'm not talking about what other people did and said (Reverend Wright...), I'm talking about what he did and said.  And what it has to do with his competency in the White House is that it is a reflection of his judgment.  Personally, I don't think he knew anything about that bullshit photo op, but took responsibility for it because he is the man at the top and that's what he was supposed to do.

Are you aware of what was going on a few days prior to the incident and what happened a day or so after?

Do even listen to yourself? That has got to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.

So I suppose every time BHO puts his foot in it you are going to claim it was a conspiracy to make him look bad. You make Moose look jaded in comparison to your fairy tale outlook on Obama.

oalexander2064 reads

Oh, no sweetie... I don't believe in fairy tales.  And I NEVER drink Kool-Aid, either.

Resorting to name-calling only demonstrates your lack of discipline to stay on point in regards to the issue at hand.  It also calls into question your integrity.

Let's talk issues and cease talking shit, please.  Let's raise the bar, shall we?

GaGambler927 reads

If you think the issue is that someone else created this fuckup to "throw the POTUS off balance" you really need to reconsider who is talking shit.

My integrity speaks for itself, as does your intelligence(or lack thereof). There was no one on the grassy knoll this time. Just an Obama administration that comitted a major faux paux, with apologists like you willing to pass the blame to "parties unknown"

I would suggest you raise your own bar before trying to elevate the standards around here. This is the P&R board, whenever you say something stupid here there will be always someone around here to call you on it. I just happened to be the one this time.

oalexander1587 reads

...you're just one of the reactionaries on this board trying to bully anyone that doesn't share your point of view and I'll continue to call them like I see them.

GaGambler1958 reads

You are free to post all the ridiculous conspiracy theories you please, just keep in mind, we are also free to "call them as we see them" as well. If that means calling you a koolaid drinker than so be it. lol

Watch out GG, looks like "latex queen" is back with a vengence, only this time she is a pretty sharp tool in the toolbox....LOL

GaGambler2305 reads

So far she hasn't proven herself to be any sharper, her posts to date have not been any keener than a dull butter knife.

I will reserve judgement until she gets a little posting history, but so far she strikes me as a wide eyed idealogue who will make every excuse in the world to justify the actions of her "Obamamessiah". Time will tell.

Yep and higher ups like say that guy that likes to say muther fucker :)  knew about the dumbass flyby not just the man that got fired :)

oalexander1272 reads

Specifically who said Rahm Emanuel, the White House Chief of Staff (aka That Guy Who Likes To Say Motherfucker) knew about the flyover?

oalexander1647 reads

Regardless, there seems to be no evidence of this whatsoever.  The snag in communication seems to be between the Director and Deputy Director of the White House Military Office.  No one from the office seems to have informed senior WH staff of the flyover plans.  Furthermore, the flyover plans didn't even originate in the WH.

Timbow1488 reads

Rahm Emanuel knows  all  that goes on in the White House ! You really think  Bloomburg's office would know something  Rahm does not :)
I know you are just pretending to be naive :)

oalexander1278 reads

I don't think Rahm is omniscient.  And it has been reported that Bloomberg's office knew, but an aide failed to inform Bloomberg personally of the planned flyover.

Timbow2093 reads

Now that is funny you are delusional if you have that much faith in the Obamessiah  , Keep hope alive , keep hope alive you are gonna need it :)

immediately following the incident.  Notice the word "mission" is used.  Isn't that vague?  After reading the investigative report issued by the White House, it seems he was either negligent or not fully kept in the loop.

oalexander1805 reads

something very disconcerting.  Question:  Where is this memo and exactly what does it say?
