what this says about the state of journalism worldwide is appaling.
the accept what is on the web without verification. what a surprise, as it has been my contention for a while now that "journalists" report events as they "feel" they happen rather than how they actually happen.
Before spell check, I actually thought about what I wrote...now I just wait for Word to correct it for me. With the pressure to be the first to post or get it to press, Journalist have resorted to wiki for information. As a adjunct faculty member, I ban wiki as a source for any information, and I teach at a community college, the bottom of acadenically prepared kids ( disclaimer: more A/B students are entering CC because of the growing cost of college)
