Yes Cuba is a good place to play.

on Gays, Jews, Miss California and other inane topics. I hope all of you on this board are profiting (excluding Charlie) from this nice little bounce in the market. You know things are getting better when Nouriel Roubini aka Dr. Doom is toning down his bearish rhetoric.

but I am off to spend some of my "ill gotten" wealth on as many chicas in Panama as I am capable of for four days.

I wouldn't be surprised if you already been there. I have a couple of friends who have been going to Cuba for years via Mexico, and say the girls are gorgeous, fun, and of course, inexpensive.

I have been to a few places that are in the totalitarian camp in the past, most notably, the USSR and Syria.

About 5 years ago I decided to spend my tourist dollars in places that are not that repressive.  While I had a great time in the places to which I had gone, I just decided I didn't want to support them.

I do feel bad becuase in those two places, in particular, the people were very hospitable, and I had a great time.  But all in all, I would rather go elsewhere.

(For those on the left who question whether doing business with bad places is moral, I say two words - "South Africa."  The who theory was boycott and don't support.

Cuba, yes, and if by some fickle finger of fate, you acquire an undesirable side affect, such as an STD, heaven forbid, you have, according to Michael Moore, an excellent medical system , much better than ours, to remedy the situation. LMAO.

Not much new in the news.  (The two Soviet papers were named, in Russian, "Truth" and "News."  The Russians used to say, "there is not news in Truth and no truth in "News.")

By the way, that last parenthetical is why rules of the language are important.  The humor might be lost without the quotation marks which indicate which is the paper and which is not.)
