watermarks will help you out , I have never used tiny eye so cant help you there. As for how I check pictures out , a simple search on the image and a little looking into and it is pretty easy to tell where the pictures are actually from.

Tineye works well to show when pictures are being reused - tineye helps flag to me as an user when to question an ad; it is not foolproof but as as good as anything out there.
