Some ladies different positions are more appealing and others less and vice versa with others. I'm 6'2" and built like a truck, so with tiny short girls positions that put her on top usually work best. Taller girls make spooning more logistically possible. plus certain other umm...physical attributes of mine can effect positions that work with some ladies.

As for the other positions it all depends on the woman, I have noticed that I get a better "fit" with some women entering from behind K9, RCG, Lazy dog etc, while with others the "fit" feels better from in front, mish, CG, ACG etc.
There is also the matter on whether we are just straight out "banging" or if it is a more tender "lovemaking" type encounter. No two women, or even two different days are necessarily the same for me.
ADHD doesn't help, but I can't focus on enjoying what the guy is doing me as well as properly focus on pleasing him. Just not enjoyable to me! 
Cowgirl is always good! As a former equestrian I do LOVE to ride.
Doggy and RCG are great when you have a BOOTAY!! 
Lazy Dog can be dangerous! Yeah it makes you feel tighter, but keep the lube flowing so you aren't so "tight" the condom tries to stay behind when you pull out!

I could give several different reasons for different lists but to keep it simple I will make three lists, the one on the left is when only doing that one position, the list in the middle is when doing multiple positions but always finishing with straight mish, and the list on the right is with someone that has a near perfect body to me.
