And I kid you not, the ad read that it was perfect for anybody named Homer Hinkelberg.

I want to buy this guy a beer and tickets to a ball game just for making me laugh.  I'll pass on the dress, though :)

I can't figure out which is the funniest part, the ex-wife who can't read or being from I-Am-A-Moron, Texas.  Can this guy be for real?

Carrie, owe ya one for this.  Funniest thing I have read in weeks.

Did you notice that the highest bid is currently 15 grand??!!!

The dude is coming out pretty good!

I accidentally deleted your original PM, and I wanted to respond to it.  It was a good one. :(

yes  i saw the highest bid was 15 K , and now its only 6K, what happenned ? that guy withdrawed?

The winning bid was $3,850.  That's a far cry from 15 grand.  It's still a pretty good price; the guy more than tripled his original $1200 investment.

But once you take into account the emotional & financial toll the ex-wife took on him, he probably will still need to file for bankruptcy.

Hard for me to hear the phrase "little sister" anymore after the "Aubrey" episode of the X-Files.  Chilling.

However, as far as Mr. Idol goes, his song "Flesh for Fantasy" could be the TER theme song. :)

My favorite of his actually is "Catch My Fall", followed by "Daytime Drama"...Steve Stevens was such an awesome guitarist!

Marcella posted this on the LA board yesterday.  Possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen on the Web.  Good of you to call the rest of the world's attention to it.

I've saved the html page.  This one deserves revisting every now and again.

I NEED one of those, soon too! (well, what do you expect? I cater to most fetishes. You did notice a guy bought it!) It's too big anyway, I'm an 8.

I'm hitting the thrift stores. Whore on aisle 9 is trying to get the chiffon over her blond dreadlocks...riiiiiiiip!

For those of you'd might like more in this vein...

They did a piece on the ryobi router table auction on This American Life (the best show in broadcasting, on NPR) about two weeks ago.  You can hear it for free on their website, www.thislife.org

i just saw an item on him in the news!  he is hilarious, he should publish.

This guy needs to start his standup career, because he had a GREAT sense of humor.

I saw him on TV, and the interview was a HOOT.

I guess he's going to start a website, too.  I wish I knew where it was....
