Carolinas

You keep telling yourself that

Personally I don't have a dog in this fight considering I originally hail from California, but I have lived in about 30 of the fifty states and have visited all but maybe five, and I can state that the different styles all have their own allure, whether it be NC, Kansas City, Texas, Oklahoma or St Louis. I have had GREAT BBQ in everyone of these places and dozens more.

Now if you want to compare something much more important that BBQ, lets compare P4P in a city like Dallas compared to the Carolinas. I can see a different lady every day here for the rest of my life,  never spend more than $300 hr, never have to "settle", and never have to repeat unless I so choose. Not to mention, Carolina is about to lose on of it's favorites to Texas. neener neener. lol

Hey ya'll,
I just thought I'd drop a line...

A few things I haven't "announced"- so not sure where else to put them...  and this being my local board....
(Yes MINE haha)

#1. I have a bad cold. So don't call me this week.
Unless you have a fetish for playing Doctor. My nose is leaking lube.
Yes, lube. I'm gonna stick with that.

#2. For anyone not knowing, a couple of my regulars were shocked...
Consider this an official announcement, I will be relocating after tax season, to Texas.
My family is there & there's better volume there. So if I have been on your "to do" list.... you might want to Pre-screen & pre-schedule... I'm just sayin.

#3. I am going to miss TER.... No, seriously.
I have been posting on the Texas boards, and it is insane to be an "unknown" when you are currently "known" where you are. I would like to think that my reputation is STELLAR here and beyond reproach... I'm not one of the bad hookers, you know what I mean, right? These people elsewhere are on so much troll stuff.... Appreciate the GOLDEN PLACES while you have them..... This place has been GOLD to me.
You fellows, and ladies, have made me welcome, and I have done my best to "pass it along" and "play it forward."
I hate starting over....

SO thankyou for being a part of my life, making my job that much more pleasurable, for vouching for me, for spending time with me, for reaching out & back...
I was born & raised in Kansas, but North Carolina is my home.
And there's no place like home.

Fox

You managed to overcome being born in Kansas.
But now.......Texas ???

Geesh, Foxy.

OK , go on to Texas , eat bad BBQ and drink horrible Texas wine ( Grapevine), and visit nasty beaches.
Get it alllllllll out of your system.

Then know , you will indeed be welcomed when you decide to return......home

but anyone dumb enough to drink Texas wine deserves what they get. lol

As for the beaches, have you ever been to S Padre Island?

I will admit, all of Texas is hardly TER territory, but there are a few of us that post on the Texas boards. Foxy I will keep an eye out for any posts you make and try to make you feel welcome. We've never met, but I've never heard a bad thing about you.

That stuff in Texas is ketchup covered meat

is anybody gonna find a tiny lil girl like you in big ole Texas:)) Took me 2 days to drive across it doing 80 and 90 miles an hour:(( I could not even tell that I was moving, until I can upon the New Mexico border:))  Be well.

Texas is an awesome place for hobbying. I wish that my job would take me there often lol

I hope that "lube" coming from your nose dried up fast, but the other place stay nice and moist! ;-) Texas is a big state and I'm sure you'll be a success in the Lone Star State.

It seems like cold and flu season is starting early! Sorry to hear you're miserable honey. You might try a hot, ginger toddy: Finely dice or grate the ginger then add to about 4 cups of water. Boil, then simmer until it is a spicy syrup (15-20 min). Add honey and lemon juice while still hot. Once it's cooled a bit, add your whiskey. I prefer apple crown.

Texas wine might be bad but the wine bars are great fun! I might come down again to play. Would you mind pointing me to the correct discussion boards?

Thanks!

You already have both reviews and a "showcase" on the dominant board in Texas. although I much prefer TER's discussion boards. As snarky as TER boards can get, they don't hold a candle to that other board for pure snarkyness.

If you need a bigger hint, please feel free to ask me via PM. Anyone who drinks Crown Royal to cure the common cold is okay in my book. lol

Sorry Foxy but I understand. We have talked about Texas a couple times and your connection there.
Our loss is certainly their gain. You are absolutely the very best and the true meaning of GFE. You
will be missed. Thanks for all our great meetings.
Wishing you nothing but the best of luck.
You are still my ATF. lickher2

Foxy we have never spoke or written each other. I have always thought you were down to earth, smart, well spoken and highly looked up too. If you need backing on those boards just send us the names, and the boards.

Nothing like someone having your back. Like Doc Holiday said, "I m your Huckleberry" There is strength in the number 2. It is written in the Big, Big Book.

Change can be stressful and always is to me any way, yet if it makes your life better. GO For It! I loved Texas. Except for the gigantic bugs!
