I know this is a recurring topic, but instead of having a full out M&G with all the bells and Whistles, anyone ever thought of just doing small M&G's for providers and hobbyists in their respective areas ? I was just thinking like maybe all the people in their respective city meet up one night somewhere for drinks and relaxing. The big M&G greet for the entire Carolinas could just wait if the chance of having one is still there.
I can also tell you about a very, very large M&G that got infiltrated by LEO, LEO showed up with his whole 'family', and arrested everyone at the party (even though nothing illegal was happening). All charges were dropped except for the 3 or 4 idiots/junkies who had dope on them; but still....EVERYONE was given a citation and had to go to court.
Make sure who ever organizes it has the best interests of everyone at heart, and screens the guest list for bad apples. Also, I would organize and announce the whole thing privately. There are despicable, spiteful people that like to ruin someone else's fun just because they can.
Note taken. But I was only suggesting a small informal meetup of people from the same city at a bar or somewhere. Not a fancy schmancy party at a club that requires invitations and what not. Just A group of people from the same city/area meeting together for a few drinks, laughs, and story swapping of course at a bar ( or if some are feeling adventurous a gentleman's club) . A big party is risky. I heard about the one that got canceled at the last minute in Charlotte because somewhere passed the info on to a radio station.
Aww they were just protecting the rest of America from terrorists and underage trafficking.

I will help organize the thing, next time I'm home, if we can get at least 3 or 4 other ladies to commit and show-up.
NO offense, guys, but if no ladies want to come, then it's just a sausage-fest and ya'll can just go to the tittie bar like any other guys-night-out. LOL
Sounds good. Maybe we should start throwing possible dates out to see which would be the best. Keep in mind Not everyone will be able to agree on one certain date, so theres not too much pressure on picking an exact date.
Would like to point out that I've got no party planning skills whatsoever. I only put this post out as a suggestion.
obviously discretion and safety are the main concerns...
I've been to a few meet and greets, and if done properly and securely, they are a great time. Meeting casually at a bar doesn't seem like the best way to handle if with discretion though.
I would love to meet more ladies and gentlemen of the community. After 9 months, I still feel a bit like a stranger and I've got some stories I've been dying to tell! All names and identifiers removed, of course!
Maybe meeting some ladies one-at-a-time might be a good idea.
who ever organizes it, do it discretely, thru other avenues than posting it on some kind of public board like this. Too many eyes.

Agreed. I'd love to go, but it makes denial hard and I don't like being photographed by the "uninvited" party crashers who will most likely show up.
