question. What has that city won? Nothing, nada, zero, zilch! Lakers are to basketball what the Yankees are to baseball, and the Cowboys are to football.

Will Cleveland win the NBA crown this year? Probably not. Shaq will somehow get injured. Delonte West will follow Gilbert Arenas, and Cleveland will implode in the Eastern Conference finals, AGAIN.

Nope!  Does it matter what the city has won?  Nope.  It took the Laker's what 3, 4yrs to win a ring after Shaq left?  

Doesn't matter what they have won in the past, this is the present.  And I know that the Laker's were swept by the Cavs and that is what this post is about.

It's not about what they won, what they might win, what they should've won, or anything else except THE CAVS BEAT THE LAKER'S.  Not once, but twice :D

get back to the original topic, but sometimes they don't.  That's the way the world is.  It doesn't seem to bother other people nearly as much as it bothers you.  It doesn't bother me at all.  Indeed, I've gotten quite used to seeing threads go all over the place, and IMHO, it adds to the variety and enjoyment of the board.  Perhaps you should also realize that many times the subject of the origin of the thread runs its course, and the thread takes on a life of its own.  BTW, I don't see you complaining when other threads started by other people go off course.  Just an observation.

And if you enjoy variety, then why was Liorr's random thoughts such a problem??  I mean, that was about as much variety as one could want right?

And I'm not sitting over her stomping my feet and kicking things because people aren't staying on topic lol.  I am just ASKING if people would.  Since everyone likes to give me shit about the Cowboys, and those threads tend to stay on topic, I like when I can return the shit and stay on topic as well.

Everyone always tries to turn the laker threads around into reasons why they lost, or what they have won before rather than focusing on what they did that night or last night.  

In the mean time, enjoy the variety of the board.  I hope Liorr comes back to add some more variety for you since I am sure you are missing it :D  Oh and the Laker's are tied with the Knicks right now.  Guess Kobe won't be getting his 61 points tonight like he did a year ago at the Garden :D

BTW, when I look and read these threads, it doesn't even occur to me who starts them.  Content is much more important than originator.
