And after that I was at a resort
Hotels don't really bother me
I bring my own ambiance
But I prefer more than a hotel room

My recent experience leads me to ask this. When you travel several weeks for work how do you even entertain the thought of another night in a hotel for a vacation? I am thinking of a mountain cabin or B&B next time so I do not have to look at commercial décor.

I've discovered that with enough pussy to keep me busy, I don't mind at all staying in a hotel.

I do get what you are saying though, even the nicest hotels all start to look alike when you spend a hundred + nights a year in one.

Of course, I was in a suite that was like a small apartment and looked out through palm trees on the Pacific. It was also a short walk from that Mongering Mecca, The Cocal.  And the price was ludicrously low. Perfect.

Toucans chirping at dawn and the sounds of waterfalls in the distance. The freshness of the rain forest air and the pounding surf that hits the shore from the Caribbean and Pacific Coast.

I would stay at Club Martino in Alajuela and The Iguanazul in Guanacaste again and again.  They are nothing like hotels, they are all part of paradise!!

I shall return one day!!

Coco, Tamarindo, Samara!  What's not to like?  Just the so-called "roads," LOL!  Better have an SUV!

The first time I took the drive from San Jose to Tamarindo it took me seven hours. It routinely took 4 hours just to get to Jaco, a drive of about 70 minutes now.

I love variety! I spent the month floating from Airbnb to hotel to national parks and enjoyed almost every minute. One bnb was sketchy but the rest were wonderful. Favorite place was waking up to sip coffee by the Grand Canyon, or maybe it was the babbling brook in Sequoia... Who wants to see pics? :)

Pics? Depends. Will there be Gratuitous Nudity?

Somewhere in the Caribbean or Central America. Realistically, It's an affordable stay for a few days away from home with family and friends.

Not that I disagree about loving a beach front holiday in either the Caribbean or Latin America, but it's not exactly a place I go with "family and friends" For me it's much more likely to be a fuck fest.
