Microsoft Internet Explorer v6.0.2800

I love reading these boards.  For the longest time, whenever I read a “thread” my browser would change the color of the link I clicked on, and thus, I knew that I had already read that particular comment.

Suddenly, my browser will no longer do that.  Now, when I go to the boards, I find I can’t remember which links I have already read and which I haven’t because they are all the same color.

I went into Tools/internet options and went to the bottom clicked colors and adjusted that, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. My "history" is set to store 180 days.

Is there anyway to turn this feature back on?

perhaps the folder where temp internet files are stored is
full.

If you pull up that same window, you will see some buttons
associated with temporary internet files.  Press the delete
files button.  If you haven't done this ever (or in a while) it
will take a few minutes.

This will also happen if you have to reboot your computer after it hangs.  Otherwise, nothing else comes to mind.  You can try to set your security settings to default level.

If you have cleared your tracks the color change will go back as though you've never seen those threads

Also a fix that works SOMETIMES is to simply refresh the page and the color change will come back(it only works about half the time)

just click on "Clear History", and you will see the colors back. It doesn't matter if your history is set a 180 days. Again click on "Clear History".
