as I am single, I have the time to read many of the review on a woman I am interested in, and make an educated choice based more on the whole report than ust the scores.  For me, the scores are only a beginning.  My real decision is based on the review text, and possibly even with exchanges I have with that woman after I initially consider seeing her.

I have participated in TER for more than just a couple of years now and have my own little rating method I thought I would share with everyone.

I like to use the VIP rating by average but it does not account for number of reviews that a provider has.  But if you add a factor to the VIP average that is based on 1/10th the number of reviews, you end up with an significant ratings number.

For example, in San Diego, Tania has a 7.86 average but this is across 77 reviews.  Therefore her rating would be 7.86 + 7.7 = 15.56.

In contrast, another provider named Joi has an average rating of 7.87 but only 26 reviews, making her adjusted rating 7.87 + 2.6 = 10.47.

This system alone should work to find the better choice when you are perusing your options.

But if you are really looking for the best bang for your buck, you can divide this rating by the price, and your best choice will really stand out.

One caviat....sometimes price is not related to quality so you have take all things into consideration.

If the % at the mode for each measured quality is high, say above 75-80% then the provider is surely a slam dunk to have looks and give service at the level that the two mode values predict.  But who am I to lecture a guy who has almost 9 times the reviews that I have :-))

One lady gets a 50% higher score simply because she's been reviewed more?

If I crunch the numbers for a couple ladies that are well known in my city..."lady A" has 50 reviews that are all 5's, your system rates her a 10.  Lady B has 10 reviews that are all 8's, which  gives her a 9 in your system. Lady A earned 5's because she is not very good looking and offers nothing on the GFE menu. Lady B earned her 9's by being hot looking and offering GFE services.

Any system that ranks like this is a system I wan't no part of! I have seen "lady B" several times but I would never see "lady A".

No offense please....I'm 100% behind a revised ratings system that has more flexibility, but quantity of reviews should not skew ratings as much as they do in your system.

When I was a kid, because there was no God, I figured two things would never happen.  First, I would never master algebra.  Second, I would live my entire life and never get laid. I eventually did get laid and thanks to a little life experience and TER get laid very well.  Thirty years later, I still haven't mastered algebra.  An eminently fair trade-off.  I now believe in God and because of the hierarchy of his decision-making believe him to be a male.

Anyone familiar with the SD board knows what comes next.

Instead of asking someone, anyone, to crunch some numbers and tell you who you'ld like to see, read the friggin' reviews yourself.

In other words, don't ask the rest of us to do your homework.

... and read up on standard deviations.  Even, better, look up trimmed means and trimmed standard deviations..

However, the greater the number of reviews the more confidence one can have in the average. Unfortunately, one has to quadruple the number of reviews to halve the uncertainty in the estimate.

TER uses all reviews in its computed averages. Unfortunately, that assumes the provider's true scores are constant. If they vary over time (and it seems likely to me that they do) then the period over which averages are taken becomes of concern.

HarryLime indicated that standard deviations are significant. I agree. Unfortunately, on my own report on the numbers for LA providers I haven't figured out a way to take standard deviations into account in a finite amount of my time.

At most a report such as mine that lists appearance and performance scores and compares escorts charging similar prices serves as a starting point for reading the reviews. There is obviously a wealth of information in the reviews that cannot be abstracted into a few numbers.

I have had les that totaly beautiful providers give me a mind blowing time.  And better looking ones really let me down.

You really need to keep looks and performance seperate.

I would rather have a 5in looks give me a 10 performance than a 10 in looks give me a 5 performance.

I  never had a 10 in looks ever, much less a double 10 performance/looks  I have had a couple 10 performances.
