Does anyone use fetlife.com to find kinky providers?

I know it is a social media site but I am curious to know how many providers and gents use this site to actually connect with others to schedule a session

Met a couple of gentlemen who were looking for professional submissive services there. I have also had a few who have provided me with the info to look them up on fet life as part of screening.

It is used for that reason all of the time. The social media connects are just a way for everyone to get a feel of your personality. Fetlife is a cool site... Check it out some day.

Stay safe & Have fun!

It's just my opinion, but when I was visiting fetlife last year I got the distinct impression they looked down (actually ridiculed) anyone who wasn't as totally into it as they were

Most recently--in the past 10 years--"lifestyle" BDSMers looked down on prodommes, even though the prodommes were not only better looking but infinitely more skilled. It was not always so. From the 70's to the 90's there was an easy interaction between lifestyle and professional, that has gone away.

When I see an ad, perhaps on backpage, for a domme I often go to Fetlife to see if they are a member and how they describe themselves and I am able to obtain a better understanding of their interests.  And if they are really into bdsm, etc.

So its useful in that respect as many there include links to their prodomme personal websites

Fetlife may or may not work depending on what your specialty is.  There are forums for pro-dommes, but i don't know that there are any other forums for pros with the intent of looking for clients.

You have to be super active on fetlife to get traction as far as clients go, and even when i was the ROI wasn't worth the time for me.

Fetlife isn't meant to be an advertising platform for sex workers. In fact when i get submissives wanting to serve me for barter, i refer them to Fetlife.

I have been a member of fetlife for three years now. I do not present myself as a provider. BDSM is exploited in the hobby for monetary gain. True BDSM has nothing to do with money. There shouldn't even be any money involved ever. How long have you been on fetlife?
