I've had a number of reviews rejected because a direct link could not be produced.  Funny though... I've seen many "new reviews" of ladies where the website was listed as "report new site".  Makes one wonder if there isn't some type of politics going on.

As all hobbyists know, RS2K is a valuable resource.  Many high quality providers only advertise on RS2K.  However, TER will not accept reviews for these providers because there is no way to provide a direct link to the provider's ad on RS2K.  This eliminates very valuable information to TER subscribers.  Since RS2K has an excellent search option, it takes little effort to find the provider's ad.  Do you think TER should reconsider?

Definitely.  RS2K is listed by many providers as THE source of a referral.

I agree too.  It would be nice if providers on RS2K could be reviewed.  I'm an infrequent hobbyist, those I've seen have been from RS2K so I couldn't post a review.

That said, and I may be wrong on this, but I think the problem is on RS2K's side, not TER.  When you put in the direct link to a providers page into the browser it defaults right to the RS2K entrance page, and not the particular page you want.

The "problem" is indeed on the RS2K side, but I'm sure they don't perceive it as a problem.  Javascript is in the pages that checks to see if the page is loading inside of their "frame" i.e. are you seeing it from the RS2K site.  If not, then you get kicked to the RS2K start page.  But if you change your browser settings to disable Javascript you can link to all the RS2K pages you want.

I too have had some reviews rejected and have noticed the same "report new website" message on new reviews. There may be more at work here than meets the eye. RS2K is a valuable resource and the inclusion of these reviews using them as the contact should be revisited.

There sure does seem to be a double standard around here.  I just checked out several reviews that used Eros as a web address, each of which did not provide a direct linke to the provider's ad.

So, TER, how do we get you to accept our reviews when the provider only advertises on RS2K?

I'm not sure if all the ladies out there know but RS2K is more then happy to provide a direct link to TER of your current reviews if you provide them with your TER link to your review. She will place it in the Heading of you ad.I know this doesn't solve the problem for reviewers but it might help the ladies out so gentlemen can take a look at your review while viewing your photo's.Hope this is helpful information.

They have a java script that will bring any outside link to the front page of their site.  This forces our members to search for the provider. This would be equivalent to linking to the front of Cityvibe and asking our members to find each provider.

I spoke with the ownership of rs2k a while ago regarding this problem.  They, in no uncertain terms, told me they have no interest in reviews on TER.

Just another reason why I don't want to use them.

I have found MANY reviews you have allowed that use Midnight Chicago's web site, as well as others, WITHOUT a direct link to the provider's ad.

At least with RS2K, they have very easy-to-use search capabilities that make is unnecessary to go through all of the ads.

I think you should allow all reviews that use RS2K.

Can you give me the website address?  I will check on it.  Almost every website we have ever asked to help us with web links has been more than willing.  RS2K was the first to tell us no.

In the Chicago review board exists a review dated 2/23/04 for "Karen". The listing has a yellow "New" icon next to it.  When you click it reports the website to be...

http://www.escortsofchicago.com/homeframe.htm

This does NOT directly link us to Karen... we have to search the site to find her.

Do you now understand what we're getting at???  RS2K's works the same way, yet their reviews are rejected when this one was accepted.  Why?

Well speaking as a paid member of this site and RS2K, I say let the client search!  What's the big deal that a client gets linked to RS2K's home page and has to click a couple of more pages to find the ad?  I doubt you will deter members from subscribing here for that little inconvenience.

BTW - with regards to reviews... why does TER fufill the requests of providers by deleting their reviews from the database?  As a paid member, I feel cheated.  I thought given the title of this website, it would cater to the client's wishes over the provider's?  That's why I joined.

I don't mind doing a little extra work searching the Room Service site.  Like todaysguy pointed out, it's already done with some reviews linked to Midnight Chicago and RS2K is certainly more reputable than MC

1.  In order to have reviews on TER, you need a valid website ad.  People on RS2k do not have them.  We are more than happy to link to any other website they have an ad of (with several do)

2.  Being listed on TER is a double edged sword.  It brings a lot pf publicity to the provider.  If she is not a rip-off and does not want this publicity, we respect her right to privacy and will pull her reviews.

The providers who advertise on RS2K certain do have a valid websit ad.  Just check: www.roomservice2000.com.  The fact that you then need to use the search engine to find the provider's ad does not change the fact that they have a valid ad.

The simple solution:  Allow all reviews that use www.roomservice2000.com as a provider's web address.

This would provide a lot of very valuable reviews to your subscribers and, after all, that's the entire purpose of this service.

The problem is, if we allow just the main URL, then all over the country we will get the same excuse.  EROS has a search feature so eros-guide.com is a valid website url.  This would make navigating TER impossible.

If you are really concerned as members of both sites, you should contact RS2K and express your concerns.

We will not change our website policy for them.

As of yesterday, I am involved in a nasty custody battle. My best friend and the father of her child are going to court next month, and I am going to be her main character witness. Although I have no criminal record and steady employment history, the bottom line is I *have* worked as an escort for the past few years, and I am almost positive that the father of the child knows. To make matters worse, the judge is a friend of my father's. The last thing I want is for my entire past to be revealed in court ALONG with reviews to back up his statements in front of someone who knows my father personally. It's situations like my own that often prompt a woman to have her reviews pulled.

their are several escort directories that are free they could post for free on one of them just so they may get reviews..Just an idea

Why not give a list of those free sites?  The more we can let them know the beter, doncha think?
