What is the etiquette on who pays for dinner?  I know that it's a relatively minor thing when the session donation is in excess of 1K, but I'd like to be an informed diner!  For an incall the provider is paying for the hotel, or apartment, as a cost of doing business, would dinner be in same category?

Thanks in advance for your comments....

A Gentleman...always picks up the check for dinner :)

Treat it like a date.  That's usually the best solution.

99% of the time, that means you pay.  If she is the one who initiates the meal, and she offers to pay, I wouldn't say no.  But, generally, you'll get the best results if you treat a provider like a girlfriend.

the Man pays for dinner, always!  Especially if the woman is comp'ing the locale-you must be young or just thoughtless?  We are women no matter what.  I think I have heard it all now

Sometimes, especially on an extended session, certain providers enjoy preparing our dinner using my kitchen (and my food).  And every once in a while, a provider will offer to pick up dinner at a restaurant.  But, with the above exceptions, I always take care of all meals and other expenses.  Anything else would be bad form.

a "NO Brainer".  Of course the client should pick up the check!    Not flaming here just common sense.     On another note about providers preparing dinner,  I'm a better than fair cook myself and love a little "Kitchen Foreplay"  by cooking something up TOGETHER.  A little wine, Some tasty little snacks and an ocasional rub up against each other while waiting for the pasta water to boil, a little DFK  a little more wine.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Wow I'm getting hungry. I must really be getting old.

A "gentleman" always pays for dinner...client or not.

pick up the tab for everything. The lady expects you to pay for every expense encountered while you are on the clock. Occasionally a lady will open her purse, but don't expect it.

Thanks....  I thought so, but as this is new territory for me, that's why I ask the questions....  Probably should have put this on the newbie board....

Thanks again for the responses....
