Ugh! I always make sure to shower between appointments. ALWAYS. I always make sure that I am squeaky clean. I don't wash my hair after my first shower of the day, typically, unless necessary, but it is simply gross to schedule appointments in "assembly line" fashion and not give yourself enough time to clean up in between.
Forgive me for being new to the hobby. I recently visited a provider who apparently had an appointment before me. It didn't appear to me that she had showered in between.
Questions:
Is this gross or do most people not care?
Do providers normally shower? Or do they clean up some other way?
Is it weird/wrong to ask a provider to shower (perhaps with you...?)
It seems to me that I don't want to be kissing the body of someone who just got kissed by another guy -- or several other guys. Am I too germaphobic? Or do most providers shower between appointments? What is the best solution for me?

I sure hope so, in fact the best gal I know always greets me wrapped in a towel, hair still damp, just out of the shower.

The cleanliness of the provider should be a concern. What you should do after doing proper research and becoming comfortable communicating with the provider is to ask the her whether you can take a shower with her to start. I have used this route and am satisfied with the results. If a provider refuses to shower with you then simply move on to the next person on your list.
there's a provider I see that sees 2-3 guys a night on back to back appointments (she told me so herself) cause she's busy during the day. Last time I saw her I was her first appointment of the night, I thought she would ask to shower at my place afterwards, but she didn't! she took a towel to wipe herself and there she went to the next appointment. I feel sorry for the next guy...
and not just 'down there' quickly. I need to rinse off the smell of the cologne, aftershave, and everything else.
I haven't had the experience/s you mention (back to back), but I either wouldn't, or would have to shower SOMEWHERE in between! Ick..
Saw a provider once who had another outcall scheduled right after me. I offered her the shower after our session but she said she didn't have time. I'd like to think that she was going to shower at her next appoinment first before beginning the session, but who knows. At any rate, showing up for an appointment and not being as "fresh as a daisy" is a real turn off. Needless to say, I haven't scheduled with her again.

Nothing worse than going to DATY and getting a nosefull that burns the hairs inside your nose.
Not only does it take away your appitite it makes it nearly impossible to get it up.
I was not always offered a shower but I do always at lease wash up with a washcloth there before the session starts.
that is just gross! I only do one appointment in a day anyway, but I truly do not understand women who do not clean up after a session, even if it's just a good and thorough sponge bath.

I try to schedule my appointments early in the day for that exact reason, hoping I'm the first job of the day. I know that some providers I've seen said they were going to see other clients right after me, and didn't shower at my house. I laugh whenever I see reviews that say "...I could tell she was turned on because she was so wet..."--yeah, wet from what, I wonder?
That's why it's best to stick to a few providers that you've gotten to know and trust. And if you're a germaphobe, you probably need to find another hobby or just accept the idea that you're sharing the goods.

I guess the solution is to do more homework and only go for low volume providers who never see more than 1 person or 2 at the most. Myself it is one early daytime and if there is 2 it is a second one late in the evening plenty of time for a long relaxing bubble bath in between to make a girl squeaky clean.
..........the client isn't clean. I had a client recently who was nowhere near clean, and I politely asked him if he'd like to take a hot shower while I got ready for our session. It worked.

As a phone op for a very reputable agency, I would ask you to please not make that kind of generalization. Some agencies are like that, not all. We are very respectful of our ladies' time and hygiene needs!
Face it, no one here on the boards or in the hobby world is going to admit to being a high volume provider who sees multiple clients per day. You will never know who is high volume and who is low, so don't drive yourself crazy worrying about it.
But the good news is that a shower only takes a few minutes. Sure, the first shower of the day is long--washing my hair, shaving legs, etc....but subsequent showers can be much quicker.
So, yes, I would say that most ladies do shower in between clients, regardless of volume.
