I have never done it...

But have seen people out people on twitter (even if showing texts with phone number from said person, normally a guy) and providers get irritated and tweeted a guy's dick picture.

I am not an overall fan of it but a little part of me thinks it's funny because of what us ladies deal with. My loud mouth actually wouldn't do it myself.

Your thoughts on when people do this? Do you laugh about it or does it scare you away? It can even possibly scare a provider from talking to another provider.

It has for me but it really depends on what it is. I think showing the phone number of text is crossing the line. Everything else is fair game. I have never done it because what comes around may go around and I really don't like being mean. I like bitching but not being mean. That is just me. At the same time I read that stuff and laugh about most of it. Yes, i am a naughty girl. You guys would never understand that if a girl tweets about a bad experience in communication with a client, it's not that she is bitching about it everything. Seriously it happens quite often. I almost always take it as a way for girls to communicate to the guys what not to do.

I mainly keep my twitter positive, geeky, flirty, and funny.

On a side note, my twitter was a regular account until another provider accidentally outed me as one. It wasn't meant in a bad way and she had forgotten. I said fuck it and rolled with it. Mind as well, right? Been having a grand ol time since.

I'm sure it's not all malicious, though, and some are justified/have their reasons. Like warning others about violently dangerous people.
On a side note, I finally bit the bullet on twitter- and it was so worth it, in that it immediately allowed me to connect with some awesome providers/women warriors.
This type of work can be isolating. And yeah, it's great that it makes it easier for clients to find you- but the sense of solidarity, and community, makes it more than worth it.

It's really hard....to get the background right in the photo...and the lighting sucks!

I usually find an odd sort of wisdom in your posts but not this one.  If ladies are posting screenshots of texts with numbers included on Twitter it's going to freak clients out and ruin things for the rest of us who use phone numbers as part of the screening process.  Haven't you read enough to know the actions of a few influence the reputations of many?
