If I use the word "hope", it's usually because there is something on My End that could delay the meeting. When I use that word it's normally Far out and no formal booking has been made. But I do let a few know my schedule far in advance and my intentions to see them when all clears or until 100% sure nothing on my end is going to delay the time frame.
I will do the same or something similar as you said Zen, as well as a variant of things. Sincerely is one of those too.
Since most of my appointments are made through P411 and my first name is in my P411 ID, I usually sign off...

If it's someone I know, I might add a short, personal, often funny closing line. Or maybe something general like "Can't wait to see you on (day)!" Or sometimes I just put my name, usually my first name but sometimes my hobby name (no, not my alias).
JK, although I suppose if some dom took me on, she might appreciate the closing.
Most times I just close with "Love, "
