Mostly younger, newer providers showing their immaturity and unprofessionalism with some of their tweets that end up being a turn off to me. I am not naive or oblivious to this being a P4P arrangement but some tweets just leave me feeling like an ATM.
Between the "my time is $$$ don't talk to me unless you have it" tweets and the tacky pics of wads of cash and expensive things I can understand how a potential client would feel like an ATM.

TER ad boards,more than local boards, often lead me to peruse reviews to see if I think we may be a match. If the provider's profile offers a website I will take a look,
and if she offers twitter against my better judgment I will look there too though twitter can sometimes turn me off when I read it, and rarely does it make me want to see someone more -- often it's a neutral as I know it's as much an extension of the role being played in sync with the stage name/persona.
I have also made some great connections via the GD Board, and have even flown half way across the country to see someone I met here. And she knows who she is, and she knows she was worth it all plus more

Maybe if I booked hour appointments that picture and a review would be all I was concerned with, but I don't. I book longer appointments where compatibility and personality count heavily for me.
I check all of the above as best I can. When I book, it's because I want to spend time with THAT PARTICULAR WOMAN based upon ALL of the factors that are important to me.
I think a few have mentioned that Twitter can turn them off; I agree, but it can also showcase a great personality and person. It works both ways.

Twitter is secondary to an ad or recent review, and as another response said, just as likely to turn me off by revealing lack of education and/or low class.

I use Twitter more and more. Yes, I am turned off by those who complain about their clients all the time, but there are others who have great personalities that make me want to arrange an appointment.
If she posts a lot on either the GD board or one of the local boards that I putz on, I will go look her up (reviews/website) if I find her personality interesting.
I do not search through reviews at all. I care about the personality and if I like that, I will check reviews as the last thing before booking. I am different on how I read the reviews though. I don't care what she did during, I look to see how the reviewer was treated (calming, friendly time vs mechanical and pushing out the door). I don't care what sort of acts she was doing with the guys, obviously.
I have to say though that although many ladies are a turn off on twitter (I am not a fan of the lewd photos and not posting anything else of substance or the princess attitude).... I have found quite a number of them are funny and great on twitter. I deleted a whole crap load of them off my account, but at the same time I added other great ones.
So in a certain way, twitter has become a way to see that personality if I stubble upon them. Being as I rarely Hobby I guess it doesn't matter much though.
Last time I saw a gal, the main thing that pushed me over is that several of my guys had seen her.

from what I see. It is all about look at me, look at what I got, look at what I am getting. I am on it but I do not post too much. I don't really have anything to say on there and I do not want to bombard people with my selfies LOL.
For me is the first port, although it does throw up the same names on cycle. GD gives a few ideas as does reviews which is great for finding newer providers.
These days I'm meeting escorts who have reached out to me. They must like what I post on the boards, or something.
