When someone use phrases like those mentioned I picture a pair of implants fasted over the skin. Yuck.

Lol I agree. The term bolt-ons just springs an image of a robot being built.
I've heard horror stories related to implants and my body doesn't seem to like foreign objects - I've had various piercings reject. So I think it's best if I stay natural and just get a lift every so often. But there's nothing wrong with having implants if you get checked at the first sign of unusual symptoms. I think it's a good awareness article!
