Just a random, pure curiosity question.

Can you generalize about types of clients in different cities? Or is everyplace now so mixed that the city almost doesn't matter (beyond size, cost of living and legal situation)?

For example, would love to know if you have an image of the typical (if there is such a thing) client in New Orleans vs Las Vegas vs. San Francisco Vs. Chicago vs. LA? Is there a city you love or hate for clients it tends to have?

I can only speak for myself, but I know whenever I mention in conversation anything regarding  a "West Coast mindset" or an "East Coast attitude" ........   most folks know EXACTLY what I mean.  ;-)

Personally, I find that I am more popular in certain cities than others and likewise, that I click well with a higher percentage of gentlemen in specific regions.   The two don't always go together, though.  That is to say, there are a couple of cities where I've really had a great time with the few gentlemen I met..... but it doesn't make financial sense for me to tour there.

Us folks in fly over country are curious about how folk in the big city do things.  All kidding aside - I really am interested;  I lived in Southern California for five years.  I did not find it to be laid back....

And brought my "East Coast" work style and ethic, it was like leaving bodies in my wake. They didn't know how to deal with me.  They would not survive had they come to other side.

I know exactly what she meant.  She is spot on.

...A provider will find a lady client to book with :)

If there's a higher percentage of lady clients there, I should check out LA soon! :)

Pretty sure CDL is no lady!

I chat with 3 other lady mongers here in LA who members here to but choose not to participate on the forums or write reviews. I've been trying to get them to post here but they are reluctant to "expose" themselves. To each her own, I guess. But from what they tell me 2 of the 3 are fairly active in the hobby. The 3rd needs some gentle persuasion :)

Webbie from LV was the first female monger I can remember on the boards. She was never allowed to write reviews if I remember correctly, but she was quite active on the boards and her and I had the pleasure of tag teaming a certain young lovely with her at a M&G in Atlanta many, many years ago.

I join you in encouraging your fellow lady mongers to join in on the fun here. For every one jerk who "might" possibly give one of them a hard time, there will be a hundred of us to run the jerk off the board.

touring providers tend to repeat their tours a lot.  I think it's the whole "Minnesota Nice" thing that the local clients bring to the table.

Any business like any others are for maximum profits and bottom line they all have targeted financial goals...and where to achieved those goals. And ask the question wisely what, where to travel choose such a place abundant with clients that can easily helps them successfully reach their objectives...my2c

What percentage of Johns from that particular city could they possibly meet? .00001%? Less?  A little more?

What conclusions could you possibly make from such a small sample size?

Uninformed ones, I would think.

Then add in that the john may be travelling or recently located there and...well...you get the idea.

1. CNJ has a LOT OF INDIANS
2. Long Island is a plethora of ebony and ivory
3. Suffolk county got Latinos from every country
4. Florida is very business
5. NoVa has mostly Caucasian and ASIAN men.

Personality wise.. Working in long island is hell on earth, many clients are rude, disrespectful, and lack compassion. I can tell a client I was in the hospital all day the day before for asthma, and he'll complain how I got tired in a later review... Or I have a gf in jail, and I really HAVE to take that call, only to layer write another review about how I was on my phone the whole session

Since moving to NYC clients are so much more understanding and sweet and I don't have to worry as much about them being selfish pricks like some of my clientele from L.I.

Personal opinion

It's not the same as it once was. North shore and South shore near the Nassua county border were significantly different in just about every way imaginable. Now all of Suffolk looks the same based on my last visit there.

It once was home. It's not home anymore.

And they aren't playing nice to make it happen. I've seen girls in long island who had pimps, most of them were forcing lower rates on the girls, and forcing bbfs and other services out of them...

And the drug epidemic, which pimps are also using to advantage, since some start their girls on drugs so they'll work more..  Smh

It's disgusting. But Long Island has become Rock Bottom

I've heard those same comments about LI from many people.  They've all said how they hated the people they've met from there because of that douchebag attitude.

The memories from my youth came flooding back with this post. I could never go back now, it's just not home anymore.

But I've also met some really realllyyy nice gents. Like Machman5 😍

I guess I had a different experience.  I found my clients to be more respectful and nice in general.  I moved up from NC thinking it was going to be worse but it was the opposite.  Even though I only stayed a year before moving back down here (just didn't like LI in general) I still miss the work aspect and should mention I also got better reviews up there for some reason.  Personality wise I found most of my clients to be overworked alpha types who needed a listening ear to rant about their jobs/wives/ect.

I tend to do very well in red states and among more rural suburban conservative cities/towns. I tend to get along with conservative clients best too. I refrain from discussing politics but I think people sort of get the "vibe" based on my website, mannerisms, style of dress, speech, etc. that I'm more of a rightie than a leftie.

Liberal states/cities have been loss leaders business wise...I get most of my reviews and publicity from those areas but the people that book me, choose longer appointments, and see me repeatedly tend to be from the red side of the fence with regards to their perspective/politics and attitude towards things.
