I wonder if the nature of this 60+ board and the men and women who are regulars here feel the same about the terms that are commonly used to define the profession that that women here have chosen
Ladies: how do you like to see yourself? An escort, sex worker, courtesan, hooker, provider, p word, other? Are there real differences or is it only semantics?
Gentlemen: How do you define the profession of the women that we are seeing?
To me, terms such as hooker, whore, prostitute etc have such negative connotations that in my mind I have made distinctions and rationalize that the women whom I choose to see are no different than the intelligent, attractive, educated women whom I might hook up with at a party or in an upscale bar, actions that much of our contmporary society tends to condone and find perfectly accepatble. Make sense or am I deluding myself? It's all fiction anyay - isn't it? LOL
