A new ring condom is coming out soon.

"""The i.Con tracks speed, “average thrust velocity,” duration, skin temperature, girth, calories burned (no joke) and frequency of sessions. Most importantly for many, no doubt, will be how a wearer stacks up to the average and “best” performers — though a sexual partner will likely have an insight or two about that. Statistics are tracked via an i.Con app.

The i.Con is also supposed to be able to sense sexually transmitted diseases.

The ring will come with a one-year warranty and have a micro-USB charging port to provide up to eight hours of juice after a single hour of being plugged in.

British Condoms vows that “all data will be kept anonymous, but users will have the option to share their recent data with friends, or, indeed the world.” Just watch out for those Russian hackers."""

I wonder how popular this will be? I think it would be somewhat funny if there was glitches in it where it gives the ending data wrong. I would be willing to bet that a few guys might try to go have a heart attack by trying to be rated number one on the shared and compared charts.

Would you buy one and why?

Would you share your results if it was in fact anonymous?

I could see some benefit for health related reasons and the STDs. I wonder if an alarm would sound during intercourse to warn about detecting STDs. That would be a funny and yet scary moment. I hope it does not have glitches when it comes to detecting STDs. I can just imagine situations where it gives false positives or false negatives. That would cause a whole crap load of problems.

Be hilarious if it spoke to you during and gave you encouragement.

I don't feel recording anything Hobby related is a good idea.
