I usually pay little attention to the numbers.

When I'm researching potential playmates, one of the things I look at when perusing their profile is their rating numbers. I know some clients just look at photos and maybe the combined number, but I find that I look at the relationship between these two numbers as more indicative as to whether she and I might "click."

What I find most intriguing is the ranking for Performance being higher than the ranking for Looks. If I'm looking at her profile with potential interest in setting up an encounter, I've already established that her looks work for me (at least initially).

What really gets me intrigued is when the Performance number is higher; in my experience, this has led to encounters where we both get along and are interested in pleasing one another. This seems to give us a bit of a connection and to take things beyond the mere transactional nature of an encounter.

Since I put forth an effort to please her, I'm usually reassured to see a higher Performance level as an indicator that we'll be on the same page.

Anybody else pay attention to this number relationship?

If what is primarily offered is massage, and she doesn't off GFE (or PSE), there's a ceiling to how many performance points can be given. I've always thought there's a slight unfairness to this. Often I'm mostly interested in a FBSM and some provide truly amazing sensual massage and I often feel there should be some way to give high marks for the massage quality. In the Juicy Details appreciation can be shown, but not in the rating.

OTOH, GFE that have lower numbers for performance than for looks stands out as a warning. I always suspect not only poor performance but a certain attitude that I don't care for. I am sure that often I'm wrong about this, but that's how I react. Of course, if the numbers are all 9s & 10s, it doesn't make much difference. 10/9 or 9/10 strikes me as about the same.

I need to look at the review's pattern of review to start to get anything from the number. Then I have to find a provider in common to set a baseline for that reviewers scoring.

The text is much more important for me.

agree in that for the majority of ladies I spend time with, the performance number is higher than the looks number. I also spend considerable time reading the details in the reviews. IMHO, without reading the details, you are judging a book by its cover which doesn't work in P4P.

relevant to the grading scale used by a particular reviewer.  An 8 for performance, when it represents the highest score he has ever given, would equal a 10 given by another reviewer, so I adjust scores according to the overall range being used by each reviewer.  Looks are subjective, so I pay little attention to those.  I'm well over 50, so MOST 30yo's look hot to me anyway.  If I was 30, I would probably be more particular on looks.

her donation.. I saw one today at $1400 an hour.. I won't go further... I saw another at a little over $200.. I sent her an email..  I have been with high end and lower end.. ( I guess).. I have yet to figure out how to justify a cost over $1,000.. when I have been with one of either ladies.. it's pretty much all good..

In terms of rating numbers.. yes a 5 or something will get my attention.. but I often see a 7 ir something given to a girl I know well and I can't figure out why when the review is still good.. so I ignore those pretty much.. way too subjective

is higher than my looks score. Obsessing over those numbers would be maddening and I don't have much care to do so. But my perspective is clearly not the same as a client's.

Absolutely, it's not something to obsess over and it's just one of the factors I take into consideration when making a decision as to my next playdate. It's an initial indicator and gives me a direction to look -- then I go deeper into reviews, web sites, board presence, etc.

I'm in the wine biz and see this every day, when people put a lot of stock into a numerical score given by someone who rating the wine. Kinda depends on who is the reviewer, the source of the review and whether your tastes match up with that of the reviewer -- but if you can reliably use them as a gauge of your likes/dislikes, it's a handy reference point in making a decision.

In then end, your personal preferences should be the determining factor, as it's your money.
