I'm planning a trip to DR
Looking to have great time , but agencies are charging upwards of $ 500 per girl for 24 hoursI've heard that you can get the same for fraction of that. Are there any good clubs to pick up women in DR ? I'm talking about a club or a hotel such as
Hotel Del Rey in CR , where you can pick and choose from 50-100-200 women at decent prices . I do not speak any Spanish so Id like a place that is somewhat tourist friendly .
There are several others, but I am probably not most knowledgeable person where it comes to the DR.
You are right about $500 being an outrageous price, a hundred is more like the going rate.

are you two seriously complaining about $500 for a day!?! SMH... remember some perspective, thats an hour at home, so $500 for a full day would be an absolute steal. Thats $20/hr.... don't be a cheap ass.
and for the record, overpaying when in Latin America does NOT get you better service, it gets you worse service as you are considered too "estupido" to deserve her best. The logic is, if you are too stupid to negotiate a fair price, then as a stupid gringo you are too stupid to complain when you get bad service too. Don't shoot the messenger, I don't make the rules, but I've spent a LOT of time in Latin America, and that's just the way things are down there.
And give me a fucking break, would you honestly over pay by a factor of five just because something costs more here at home? I call BULLSHIT. Let's say you take a cab and the fare is twenty bucks, are you honestly going to pay a hundred because that's what it would have cost you in NYC? BULLSHIT!!!
Yes 500 for a full day is really cheap compared to prices in the USA, but if the going rate there is 100 or 200, then 500 is expensive there.
I would be grateful if this discussion could head back to where it started: useful suggestions for hobbying in Santo Domingo, NOT beach resorts. Let's agree on a price of $100 for a couple of hours. Yes you can get it for less, but that is not the point. You can call a service and have a girl delivered to your hotel; you can go to a strip club and either take a girl out to a hotel or perhaps get a room on-site; you can ask a taxi driver to take you to a 'casa de chicas'. Great. I am primarily interested in finding a quieter place where I can enjoy a girl for a couple of hours and LEAVE. Thanks.

Not that I'm complaining but something is seriously not right with the math of foreign escorts, I was quoted $100 an hr yet $180 usd for an overnight lol. Don't consider using an agency as $500 for an overnight is preposterous and fucks up the market for the rest of us gringos.

I am planning a return trip to Santo Domingo in DR and even though I have some experience I could use some advice. The $400-$500 overnight is not unreasonable if you really want a girl for 24 hours. Problem for me is (has been) choosing from photos and if the girl is not really what I want I am still stuck with her for that time; it's way too long. I have brought girls back to my hotel room; similar problem -- getting rid of them after a couple of hours. This trip I want to visit an upscale whorehouse where I can spend a couple of hours and then LEAVE. If I really like a girl I can always negotiate an overnight. I know of strip clubs like Foxys, but really I don't need a lap dance or loud music, I just want to walk in, pick a girl, have sex, and leave. My Spanish is good enough, upscale is best. I have heard 'ask a taxi driver' and might try that, but I would welcome other useful suggestions.
There are loads of places you can go for a couple of hours and none of the legit places will run you even close to a hundred bucks, much less $4-500.
Just as a point of reference, Dominicanas travel to places like CR where they can get $400-$500 for an overnight rate, which is about 4-5 times the rate they can get at home.
