Haha Atleast you know what your deal-breakers are :D

I was wondering how much of a difference it makes to clients whether a provider does private incalls or only hotel incalls. How many clients refuse to do a hotel incall with a provider and why? Or vice versa.

I'm thinking of getting an apartment to do incalls in. I think it would less of a hassle than getting a hotel every time.
The only hard part is getting an apartment in Manhattan with no proof of income :/ Advice on how to go about that would be helpful also. (I don't know anyone well enough to be a guarantor so that's out of the picture.)

me is that I will go to a residential incall, but I won't go to a hotel incall.  Its because the vast majority of LE stings on hobbyists are from fake hotel incalls.  I will do outcall to me in a hotel, but never an incall.  NEVER.

I'm not questioning what you are doing or saying - more myself based on what you say.

I've always felt that the most important thing in terms of playing safe is meeting a well reviewed provider who has been reviewed by established mongers. If that hurdle was jumped I never thought twice about where we met... her hotel incall has always been just fine with me.

Could LE turn a provider? Sure. But they could do a sting from a private incall as easily, if not easier.  Other than having a provider turn (which could happen at an outcall too), I am not sure what the downside is in seeing a well reviewed provider at a hotel incall... esp since I don't have to pay for the room.

Please help me understand the downside of this.

TEHO, what ever makes you but I just find your choice a little odd. For one thingyou have mentioned numerous times how you don't go near sites like BP, and you only use TER and I find it odd that you would even worry about a sting.
Secondly I have heard many stories of busts at static in calls because of neighbors reporting all the comings and goings.
For me, as I said below, I am okay with either/or.  Do what makes you comfortable, but I find your reasoning odd.

its based on having gone in the past, many years ago, and not being comfortable with the setup.  I don't enjoy myself if I am worrying about other things.

I have been to hundreds of residential apartment incalls, and I know how to blend in like I'm a resident of the complex.  In fact, I just posted my safety routine for apartment incalls on the Kgirl board today.

I will admit I also have some cleanliness issues.  Using the same sheets for three or four customers is not appealing.  Neither is a wet bathmat or towels.  The incalls I visit always provide fresh towels and bathmats and put a clean cover of some type over the bed between customers.  Asking a hotel maid to bring a dozen extra towels to a hotel room increases the risk for all involved, IMO.

I personally know cops that have used apartments to do stings, specifically to get people like you. People who think that cops only use a hotel and not an apartment. Never assume with LE.

High diamond rated hotels are more secure for me, I have a few bad and unpleasant experiences with private incals in my region, ie parking, neighbors, gates, etc and one other thing if you only utilized it for business and recreational purposes, just imagine the traffic that will create in such a place...

...i seldom see a local provider at a hotel/motel 4 an incall any more, too sloppy and used...if you're visiting, thats different-there are a lot more amazing places to fuck in a private incall...

Just feels more comfortable to me.  However, it seemed to me that during the time I was active before (late 90s-early 2000s), providers almost stopped using private incalls--it was just about always a hotel.  For me that hasn't been a deal-breaker.

I don't know if that was a widespread change, or just in my city, or just in my (relatively lower) budget range.  I was low-volume enough even at my most active that it could even have been a small-sample fluke.

You might want to reach out to providers who already have an incall apartment to see if you can work out a sharing arrangement with them.

Thanks for the suggestion :) but I don't like the idea of doing that. If they get caught, I get pulled under the bus with them. Plus it would be nice not having to check with someone else and to always have the space free when I need it. For a low volume provider I imagine that's not a problem. But I'm mid-range and I don't want to miss out on shorter notice appointments because I'm sharing and don't have enough notice.

I was sharing an incall but I realize that's not feasible for me long-term.

A meeting is built on trust, and only see people i'm comfortable with so I'd be OK with pretty much anywhere with one exception - motels (with rooms facing an outside corridor) would make me a bit nervous.

I hear good things about Recharge as a way to easily get a hotel room for a short period. It's only NY and San Francisco, but you sound like NY so might be worth checking out. In fact, if you try it would love to hear what you think.

I would never get a motel :D when I say hotel incalls I mean boutique and/or upscale hotels in Midtown. Or possibly in a neighborhood closer to the client. I'll give recharge a shot and let you know how I like it :)

I looked it up but sadly it's not available for Android until the Spring. And I don't think they've included cities outside of California yet. Oh well. I'll stick to day use and Expedia for now.

Beside its' less likely to be LE sting (every little bit helps to make me more comfortable is good), I have found I experienced less cancellations and NCNS.

Hi

The market is a joke !!! Save yourself the hassle !!!

Peace out !!

Private Incall where there are nosy neighbors would not be good. I have seen providers in hotels, condos, apartments, houses, etc., and it usually makes no difference to me. However there was an Incall situation a couple years ago that made me uncomfortable. The provider rented a little one bedroom apartment that was behind a house. You had to park on the street, then walk through the carport of the main house and go up some steps to her apartment.

As a Manhattan resident, I forget sometimes people still have to worry about parking. You make a great point.

like pets, roomies or having to be quiet not to distract
others in the building/neighbors.

I prefer outcall but wrestle higher
fee, which most gals do.

My pets of choice would be gerbils. Not distracting at all :p

I make outcalls cheaper because the cost of the subway/ lyft to a client's hotel room is low compared to booking a hotel.

As a provider I have my own private in-call location. I think it is better as the man feels much more comfortable coming to my private location instead of a hotel. Also, everything that I need is in my in-call. I mean yeah you can have a in-call at a hotel but your always bringing all your things with you do have a appointment. I just think the man likes it better as a private in-call. Or maybe thats just my preference.

... or for anyone who can spell Kierkegaard (which I can't - thank you cut & paste).

So I won't lol.

So all I'll say is that a private incall is great and unless and until I see a senior neighbor in slippers, a housecoat, and her hair in curlers holding binoculars while looking out her window, it makes for very relaxed time.   I don't have any issue with a hotel, though, as about 90% of my dates have been in hotel and there has never been an issue there either... unless you count the senior with her slipper and hair in curlers listening through the wall

For me, it doesn't make a difference.  I would just suggest avoiding the smaller boutique hotels which are usually smaller.  Go with the larger hotels where there is more foot traffic and people can blend into the crowds.

I agree that the lights shine a little brighter on us coming to visit at a boutique hotel, but my last two visits to one showed me how casual hotel personnel are to us as long as we play nice.

During one recent visit to a boutique the provider had to come get me. My visit to another made me sure 'this is how it will all come to an end lol' as the place was so strangely laid out that I probably walked around for 5 minutes looking for the elevator.

Each visit found me in the lobby alone with the desk clerk... I was dressed well with no luggage obviously, and I'd guess the chances they knew what I was there for was... 100% lol.  It probably went to 200% when the provider came to get me and we were about 20 years apart in age.

Each time it was a big yawn for the clerk...  and one even said to enjoy the rest of my day when I left.

Maybe it helps if the provider gives you directions to the elevator so you don't have to stumble around finding it. I've mastered the art of walking with confidence and finding the elevator easily or at least giving that illusion lol. It's nice when the client gives me directions to the elevator though just to speed things up.

One provider in our area has a very nice apartment which apparently is used only for business and not for living.

This isn't Manhattan so there are cars involved, but for new clients she meets you in a nearby parking lot and then has you follow her car to her apartment parking lot.  Then you walk up to the apartment together.

I haven't (yet) repeated with her, but I imagine on subsequent visits I would just be asked to come up to the apartment directly.

1.  Outcall to my hotel.
2.  Incall at a residence.  I'm not too thrilled about going to a provider's hotel for incall, which would definitely put a damper on seeing touring providers...

I'm lucky in that my fave in LV has a GREAT incall and also does outcall.
