The ladies I have known take full advantage of priceline etc. to book nice rooms very inexpensively.
Some are very proud of just how little they spend on it.   If you want to know where to book a cheap, reasonably nice room for your Aunt Mabel the next time she comes to town to visit - ask a working girl.

As I understand it, many escorts generously tip the housekeeping staff - but that's not something that makes a hotel prosperous... especially given that some do use large quantities of linens and towels...

Regardless - hotel owners and managers in the US do NOT like escorts plying their trade in their establishments.  I doubt they would like it even if it were legal.

I was wondering how much money the working ladies and gents contribute to the hotel industry.  So ladies and gents, how much money would you say you spend on the hobby as far as your hotel visits in a year?  I am  sure that the ladies spend as much money as some of the business guest.  You would think that the hotels would be kissing escort's asses.Lol  I rarely do outcalls but I will get things started by saying that I contributed about two grand to the hotel industry last year.

Since the Chargers are leaving I'd surmise that Hoteliers are happy to get anyone. There's also AirBNB's, too.

It's an interesting question on this point.

Hotels have high fixed costs and low marginal costs for and empty room so those discounted rooms might actually be where the actual profits are made while the higher priced rooms are covering the operational costs.

Then you need to balance the $ earned off the room from the discount against the higher than average cost of washing the towels and the additional water used.

Still, I suspect that the pure volume of the use by providers for the industry is somewhere in the noise. However, there probably as some specific hotels where the hobby is really providing a significant portion of the profits.

You get 2x points if you have the Priceline Rewards Visa on Name Your Own Price reservations.  That equates to about 4% cash back rewards!  It's all about those margins, baby.

... I had a photoshoot with a very part-time provider (she had a full time day job) and for some reason this topic came up. She stated that she spent over 25k on hotels the previous year.

I can't imagine that a full time provider wouldn't shell out much more for this type of expenditure.

Now that I've gotten into this endeavor, it has changed my outlook when visiting hotels.  Before it never crossed my mind that gals seen there weren't just here for conferences or vacations.  Now every time I see a hot chick walking in a hotel hallway or lobby, I start to wonder what her hourly rate is.
