It would be cold enough but we would need the snow, even NY city doesn't get much accumulation(six inches or better). It's definitely being at the right place at the right time or flying into one of the areas that is sure to have snow.
Make sure to look me up though if we get lucky here in good ole NC, I think Asheville could work... hehe

Anyone else feeling like summers over and winters approaching? This cold weather sucks, come on already its almost May for petes sake. Don't get me wrong I love to cuddle under the blankets with the right person and all but I want to turn my thermostat from Heat to Cool already.
Give me that warm sun on my face! Love basking out in the sun.

I haven't had any heat on in a month and I really don't want to run any air
For a bit there I thought we went  straight to summer with no spring, and I am happy for this spring air, no pollen, clear blue skies

And on my deck there's no wind so yes, I'm outside in my lounge chair today!!!

Barbie, next weekend will be beautiful, count on it!

;-)

Steph

I broke out the short shorts and dresses a couple weeks ago!
Enjoy the cooler weather while you can, I know I'm going to be wishing for it as I drown in the humidity in a month or so!

I love the snow (says the resident snowboarder)

But this in between cold rainy crap needs to get out of Carolina.  If I wanted that, I would go back to Cincy :)

I have never skied in the rain until I moved here.  And there is nothing worse than that!

There is nothing like cuddling up in front of a warm fireplace on a cold night.  Or looking up at the stars with a special someone from under a down comforter, perhaps even on a horse drawn sleigh, on a crystal clear night.

wow smallsteps, looks like you take Giant steps in the romantic department! I'm actually picturing the star gazing in the horse drawn sleigh.
Now don't get this twisted, I Love winter and snow but only so much of it. I'm ready for the warm weather already.
Steps make sure you have that sleigh ready for me when the weather is back, I'm thinking 1. NY 2. Asheville or 3. Pinehurst at The Carolina Hotel.

That's why I love the changing of seasons.

Your #1 might work, but two and three are usually not nearly cold enough for serious sleigh rides.

I am thinking more of the Colorado Rockies, the Gunflint Lodge in Northern Minnesota, or anywhere on the romantic Mackinac Island, MI.
