I've never experienced that though I haven't written a review...

recently. I'll be working on one today. I write mine in Word then copy and paste when I'm ready to submit the review. That way it's saved and I don't lose it if there happens to be a glitch while submitting. I had that happen back when I began to review.

Does anyone else experience very slow response when writing a review?  When I type one I type and the text appears after a delay. No other part of the site does this. It is very frustrating. Just curious if it was just me.

I have begun writing reviews in a different app and then cutting and pasting into the review forms to prevent the review page from timing out while I'm still writing.

moderator you get.  If you type faster than the moderator can read, then a delay can be expected.

While I haven't had that problem with TER lately, I have had problems while typing on other sites with IE, which problems went away when I started to use Chrome.

I write the review in Microsoft Word and then copy and paste it into the review form.  Will TER ever let us stop filling in all the info stuff that doesn't change and and allow a review to just be "general details" AND "the juicy details?"

In the new beta version you don't have to fill in all the profile details. It also has a save draft feature, so you don't have to type it in a seperate document or worry about losing it when it's half done.

For example, if you're using an old tablet like an iPad 1 or 2, what could be happening is the device's fault, in that it's doing spell checking on every character you type.  You might see something similar on an old PC, especially if something like anti-virus scan is running at the same time.

and paste when I have the time to complete the profile. I haven't written a review since the new procedures have been put in place so this may cause an issue.

When you're writing your review it's all on your local CUP and browser. Once you hit the submit button it goes back to TER.
