That def sounds like the experience of a life-time, even without Joan Jett, however, that does put the awesome sauce on the cake! I'm glad you got to see that. I wish I could have!

Hope you are recovering well :)

I was in the 5th row great view of the legendary Daltrey and Townsend! I had the VIP Experience and part of that included being at the pre-show sound check/rehearsal.. That was a "Once In A Lifetime" experience! There were only about 50 peeps there and it was fantastic. Then on to a VIP Pre-party with food (good food), beer and wine all complementary. There was The Who artwork there from the 60's on.

And oh, Joan Jett opened for The Who. My fatigued is horrible today but it was worth it.

Rock on...

Is it me, or is this Nice weather making the days really fly by?
It seems like there aren't enough hours in the day to get it ALL in.

It never ends!
But I wouldn't have it any other way. lol
I am feeling very blessed that I am capable, as many are not, and over-endowed (heh, take that however you want, true both ways lol!)

The weather is finally not  SUCKING harder than a two dolla hooker in need of a r@ck...
No more "YUCK" stage- at least besides pollen. (So sorry for you folks with allergies... The yellow dust has been something else this season, hasn't it...) But over all, no more cold, melted mud-slush-ice, frigidly piercing razor-sharp winds.... (Yes, guess who doesn't like the cold lol) Sunshine is back! The warm kind that has children running down streets on scooters, people rocking their flip flops, ditching their jackets, everyone around my neighborhod has been breaking out the lawn mowers & weed-eaters, the birds are all back and in Snow-white mode lol ... Yusss! Seriously, this weather puts me in such a great mood!

I have also been listening to some current music (heh, feel like I'm behind sometimes, so this is my effort to be knowledgeable of current music: Googling top 40, Ryan Seacrest? shrugs, ok... click... download...jam... A few I really really like, actually after jamming a few times, burning a CD for the car... I get tired of commercials on the radio.. lol But this one line sticks with me from an upbeat tune...)

"Everyday above ground is a great day, remember that"~ Pitbull - Time Of Our Lives (lyrics)

Something positive to always remember!

I wish you all well, I'm just rambling with a nice cup of coffee still :)
Hope ya'll are having a bright sunny day like me.
:)

Oh, And Happy Hump Day!

:D

Ok and why didn't you take me? Hmm
J/K Sounds like you had a blast, a few years earlier of my time but definitely love the old Rock N Roll & Joan Jett is of course one of the first great female rockers!
Recover well sweetie.

All this in between your message and mine. Ok. Ummmm, wow! Tickle me hilariously satisfied for the moment.

Well Steph... I was right there in the 5th row with you..... directly in front of Roger (and at sound check and reception). Too bad I did not know enough to look for you!
