TER General Board

For a long time, Playboy has failed to keep up with the times.

It's a tragedy, really.  Playboy is one of those all-American trademarks, and I still have fond memories of the beautiful women who captivated me as an underage teen.

Sort of makes me a bit queasy myself.

What do others think?

As a teen, a neighborhood pal's father subscribed and didn't stop us from flipping through his issues (kept under the cushion of his big upholstered arm chair). His attitude was sort of, "They're going to look, so let them look here where we know what they're looking at." I, of course, only borrowed his Playboys to read the articles. Although there was one centerfold who was so GND beautiful and she reminded me so much of a classmate (no, it was NOT my actual classmate).

As to the future, Playboy Club in NYC or TER in NYC? I think I'll stick with TER.

presidential key card.  It says its good thru Oct '81,

Times have changed and things have moved on from this era. People may go once for the novelty factor I guess?

I think it's totally appropriate to have a bar/lounge with gorgeous scantily clad waitresses who are essentially off limits.  Just enjoy the view...What's not to like?  Just another establishment that allows women to exploit men for their desires in exchange for large gratuities...

I kind of like the idea. I'd check it out the next time I'm in NYC. I guess I'm the retro type. I like old style motorcycles, classic rock, and scantily clad women. Go figure.
