... Are the reason why I try to keep my website as straightforward as possible, even though I'd also like it to be informational.

I recently removed my gallery of photos and spread them throughout the site as an incentive to read the information provided there without it being boring.

I'm always looking for ways to convey the information I need clients to have while making the website nice to navigate and enjoy. And I'm always open to suggestions ;)

Maybe it's my attention span, but when I'm perving providers sites sometimes, it feels like trying to get through War & Peace.

Usually I start jumping to just the relevant info : pics of t&a & services provided. If they seem interesting, then, I might actually read the whole damn thing.

But then I feel I got to beef up my copy, cuz, you know- everyones doing it. (Though I've seen no discernible difference in applicants wether I do a short & dirty paragraph on my site or a freakin' essay. I just get more looks w/ass pics.Or 'teacher" clothes, interestingly enough.)

So, I thought I'd ask the hobbyists: what's your opinion? What do you look for? Is the super wordy stuff a turn off, do you actually read the whole thing? Is literacy something you look for in a provider?

Thanks.

Actually sometimes it does seem like homework.  you look at so many profiles & can't remember the ones who you are truly interested-time to start all over. The reviews are interesting but what one hobbyist likes the other hates. I guess one just has to go by a gut feeling & rather or not you find the provider attractive. By the way-I have not found one provider that I would consider unattractive. Kudos to you all. If I were younger & richer I'd start with the a's & see how far into the alphabet I could go. (i'd never see the b's)

When I'm looking for a new friend, I will first check out the pictures and her donation amount.  These 2 factors will immediately  tell me whether or not I'm interested.  If I am truly interested, I will be willing to go through the whole site to get a sense of her personality, so I can plan accordingly for our first meeting.

Two rules that I always try to think about for website development is a. every image we use is worth 1,000 words but after 10 the law of diminishing returns takes over, and b. every word we use is a chance to screw up all we hope to achieve through our images.

In terms of density of text, short and clever is a lot better than long and boring.

It doesn't feel like homework, exactly, but my eyes tend to glaze over reading a couple of words into large bodies of provider-text. They come off like advertising copy. Flowery, usually banal statements amountimg to the same, basic thing: spend your money here. "Get lost in a world of erotic possibility. Draw the curtains, lock the door. I am the true girlfriend experience you've been looking for..." Blah, blah, blah.

If it's important enough information, the ladies will usually break things up, with bullet-points or whatever, to make sure we're paying attention. I find the FAQ, etiquette, rate and contact pages (and the photo galleries, obviously) infinitely more interesting than the general introductions.

Intelligence is a turn-on, but literacy isn't a priority. So long as she has high school-level writing ability without repeated, gross spelling and grammatical errors, I'm fine. Then again, I've never actually passed someone by for those reasons. If I found someone I really wanted to see who expressed herself like an eighth grader, I probably wouldn't care.

For me I do skip over the very wordy ads and check out the picture posted with the ad.  From there I check donations and location.  I also check on the age.  I personally have an age range I am comfortable seeing.  I do not want a super young (18-22) provider but will see a mature provider.  From there I check out the website for additional pictures and then check reviews.  I do not always look at the most recent reviews but look at various reviews (both highs and lows).  Tends to give me a better picture.

When I do reach out to the lady to book I am hoping we kind of get to know one another through email some but not always necessary.

Some guys might like to read a lot, but I think most are looking for simplicity.  Give the essentials, then show lots of good photos.

Some gals do write well.  Those often have blogs where i can keep up with them and enjoy their writing.  Keep the two separate, with a link on your site to get to the blog site.

The things I look for are pictures. Please make em easy to scale on a phone, clicking a thumbnail to get a bigger pic is annoyung, let me scroll thru.  Postage size pics that I can't see, even when blown up are useless.  Full body nudes perferrably (makes it seem like less of a chore).  Then "donation" amounts.  Then and only then do I look at anything else.  Prefer sites with no music or overly flashy crap. Thoughts, prose and text are nice but I prefer a link to reviews.

So the previous topic on the General Board was called "Ladies - Tell us about a lovely client" and the question was about what traits do providers really enjoy in their hobbyists. The one thing that most of the girls seemed to agree on was that a guy "just be himself," to which I would say "right back atcha." Of course looks are a priority, and we can't be thinking about how we just emptied the kids college fund for a night of carnal pleasure, but a lot of us are looking for some sort of authentic connection (in addition to great sex without any obligation). If you talk about how you speak four languages or studied at the Sorbonne, that can be either intimidating or create skepticism. On the other hand if you come across as authentic and maybe a little vulnerable that will definitely help ease the anxiety that all newbies, and even many seasoned hobbyists, feel.

I beg to differ...I read it and take notes!

Yes, I'm a Virgo with a label maker (tho I've promised to use my powers only for good and not for evil) and a provider who shows some intellectual prowess, along with accurate photos and flair, will probably get the nod from me over another provider who doesn't show the same level of communication and ability to express herself.

It shows that level of connection and communication that I want, rather than just a warm body and no chemistry.

Just shows that there are levels to "customer service" that are appreciated by different customers. With some research, you can get a more customized fit (pun intended ;)

boilerplate variety. I enjoy browsing a provider's site that gives me an insight into her professionalism and creativity. I've visited sites that I can spend an hour on and go back for more (Sexy Carolina's for one) because it feels like she's in the room reading it to you. Then there's Samantha Killington's site, pictorially provocative as well as comprehensive. Sam, I'll admit to seeing regularly and Carolina is a woman I'd see in a heartbeat if I'm ever in her area. After all, who doesn't need milk(ed)?

I'm turned on by any number of out of town gals who frequent this board. Robbin Young, Stephanie MGFE, Courtney The Nude Opera and Maria Valentina are a few others that I've enjoyed perusing.

btw ... for your ultimate VIEWING pleasure, if you haven't visited Maria's site, watch it while taking a cold shower. Meowwww!

providers: Please make sure your TER profile is accurate.
Example: If your profile says CBJ but then we read her ten reviews and in fact BBBJ is very common.
Of DFK is check yes, but you read the review and all reviews say the lady was not really into kissing,

"Don't knows" in your profile is worrisome. File a problem report and get your profile accurate.

Just my 2 cents.

To those providers who do not know !!
One of the easiest things to do in TER is to correct menu items in your profile.
As posted said use problem report or contact us.

You must have control of profile to do this .
Not nearly as easy for reviewers to get it corrected.
