I am interested in Urethral play, both giving,m and receiving. Any suggestions ? Thanks

...nope. never.

Female urethral tracts are far more sensitive and prone to infection than male urethral tracts. I absolutely love giving urethral sounding, but as far as receiving, especially from someone inexperienced? That's not really something i'd be willing to do.

There may be a lady or two out there who is happy to receive this kind of play, and i wish you luck in finding her. Should you ever be in the Chicago area and want to experience urethral sounding and play, be sure to find me!

What's that you say?

Allowing the over-confident and wildly incompetent to stick foreign objects into my otherwise sterile body cavities might result in... problems? *ahem* Oh say it isn't so! NOW what will I do with that Ben-Gay covered Sharpie permanent marker that I just pulled out of his penis? LOL

This fear of death and injury is wildly over-rated. Didn't you ever hear of reincarnation? I hear that if it doesn't go the way you planned it, you get to come back and try it again! And again... and again.. and again...

I try not to insult the intelligence of others or sound alarmist but of course you are absolutely right: I should've been stronger. I have known a number of dommes who were very well educated about sterility and used only medical equipment that was not reusable and always sterile.  Of course the possibilities are: bleeding, damage, infection, punctured bladder or other organ.
I pass catheters all the time, but there is a danger and a real one and thank you for raising them

It has been pointed out to me that a very important issue was raised and I blew past it in a breeze way.  Even my follow uo I have been told but at least four fellow TER members that I owe a fuller explanation.  If this is boring, forgive, if useful, I am glad:
There are two things one can readily use for urethral play: catheters and sounds.  Catheters now are readily available pre packaged and sealed and for one time only use.  There are many that come self lubricating so one does not need to add jelly and this is not only smoother but safer.  The male penis is slightly harder to catheterize and the penis must be held in a correct position and one needs to be careful not to push too far which can happen if the catheter curls at the end.  The receiver should also be properly positioned. Sterility is vital.  Female urethras are shorter and easier to access but again positioning is important.  Once inserted, the catheter can be moved back and further and this gives what can be exciting sensations in the right sexual setting.
Sounds are more complicated because they are metal and not for one time use and therefor need careful and full cleaning and sterilization.
The lady I knew who was best at medical play was an RN and had a fully equipped medical play room with full sterilizer and full exam table.  She often asked me to review her procedures for safety. She also has IVs which she used (believe it or not) to insert into her subs testicles and fill the sac with a large amount of sterile IV fluid.  (I have not idea who would find this exciting but that's just me.)
I will be glad to answer any question if youPM me and I am sure the other physicians here will as well.  If I have bored you I apologize
