Here's another rather recent one.

I'm trying to remember some old classics.

(PS, this'll probably be your forte, being the campus historian/archivist and all)

I thought it'd be a good idea to go running in the wet snow we're getting here and I jacked up my knee, rendering myself temporarily crippled and resulting in severe cabin fever. I'm dying to read through some classic TER train wrecks. Anyone have any favorites?

I am sure PS can supply a link

The famous "got rope" thread.
Take care of that knee. I'll try to find some other threads for you.

I don't know that it was the longest ever but it was definitely long.

Here is one from just a couple of weeks ago that's longer, started by yours truly.

I wonder how long the longest thread is/was?

Even as "archivist" I have no clue which thread was the longest. I wish there was a way to search for the longest thread.

is like and why I'll never, ever consider one again.

I only wished I knew then what I've since learned.  Talk about a train wreck of poor life decisions.  Thankfully the repercussions of those decisions are not mine to contend with, nor is the bill to fix them.

Obviously that was before my time, but it's almost eerie knowing what came to pass. Yikes.

I'm trying to remember some old classics.

Although I sort of like that whole "I need to get my nails done, so don't post til I come back hours later because I order you to do so"... uh, yeah right.

She didn't even wait half the time for others to respond! I can't even.... Hours of arguing for no reason? Hours. (Shaking head).

I nominate this for the MDOTY Award. (Meltdown of the Year).

I feel left out now that I never saw that thread. Actually I don't think I have ever seen her posts before.  I need a good laugh and a side of eye rolls.

And several trainwreck s all around that time period. You should be able to find more if you are interested. ;)
Anyway you were on hiatus for a while. I think you kind of made your return here right after those meltdowns.

That would usually inspire some strange replies.

if she is the one I am remembering, and I think she is. I never got to meet her in person, but always thought Mr. Fisher was a very lucky man.

To relieve your cabin fever, how about the bird review? :D

what it use to be 5-8 years ago.

I do remember some going over 250 responses and had plenty of input from now banned members. Plus the moderators use to let some things through lol.

(That is one crazy review, about the birds!)

Some of the longest wrecks have been started by a Michigan guy (not a real DR btw), BBFS foreign guy (starts with a U), and Our favorite KY guy who loves Grey's Anatomy.

Although a certain gal "T" has always had the best IMHO.

I can think of at least 15 former regular board posters (from the 2009-2013) that I seriously miss reading their dumbsh*t. Best free entertainment!

I tried starting trainwrecks a few times, back in the days, I was just never good at it.

And several of them were LONG! Gawd! Sadly his handle no longer appears on TER so I can't post a link.

You know, the one where he wanted her home address so he could send her baby clothes?  What a hoot.  Even Mr. Peepers, er mrfisher, came down on him with both feet on that one.  A true classic.

But unfortunately none of those threads exist anymore, and she was looking for links to trainwrecks that she can read. :)

He bared his soul about having presided of the mistreatment (read serial rape) of a couple of hookers at a bachelor party.  Most people treated him OK for his honesty.  But then a poster we all know decided to sympathize with the pimp and got raked over the coals.  It was hilarious.
Please find it, ps.

Anything written by this now defunct member was a train wreck.

Hound of Cullen's, I watched my roommates rape two strippers in my home.

the longest in the two years since I've strayed here lol was my favorite (and only) post-op TS ... not only was it lonnnnng, but it resurfaced regularly for at least a month. Matter of fact, just the other day ... lol

I'll be enjoying this reading material indeed! Oh the delicious drama.
