Many profile prices are old and have not been changed when the provider raised her rates. But I have never found the profile wrong in the "up" direction. So while I might see a profile that says 300 and then further research says her price is 500, I don't see profiles that say 500, and then find out later her price is really 300, so again, no need for me to look any further if her price is out of my budget.
This is sssuming my search started on TER. If I found her on p411 or an ad site with a price that was in my budget and later click on her TER profile and see that the price is higher, I will disregard the TER price or ask her to clarify.

However I am not going to go looking for specials. I was talking about if my first introduction to the Provider was her TER profile, (for example somebody posted on a discussion board and I clicked her profile link, or maybe saw her pic on the photo board, or she showed up in "new reviews".) It would be different if I first found her on an ad site (including TER ad boards). That is more likely where I would see a special listed, then I wouldn't pay attention to the rate on the profile.
