This is an important question for me, so please reply. I'm trying to set up my screening process and want to know -

What is your #1 choice for verification?
1. P411
2. Date-Check
3. TER Whitelist (now-1/2016)
4. Recent references (now-1/2016)
5. Employment verification

Thank you, in advance, for your answers.

AHo :)

Add ter... But in different states different forums work.. In Chicago rs2k is huge

Not that I would have any vested interest in your answer or anything ... :-D

TER Whitelist and P411 okays are the easiest, and usually that's enough to get in the door with most providers.

Some providers prefer recent references since it gives a better idea of the client. (Would the reference see him again? Is he safe and clean? What does he look like and how old is he?)

IMO #1 is P411, as I hate troubling ladies that I have seen with giving out their information for verification purposes.  P411 is quick, easy as far as sending an appointment request, and painless.  I haven't had any problems since I begin using it roughly a year ago.  There have been a couple of ladies who have asked for employment info and references in addition to P411, but I normally pass on those ladies.  I have had maybe 2 ladies that have accepted my Whitelists only.  Never used Date-Check (I heard that they have been dealing with issues lately).

p411 is a great advertising venue.
But.. not the only way of verification. As we know many people share accounts...

I think she meant providers share accounts i.e. agencies, same assistants, etc.

Thank you for your answer.

I don't know how a provider shares an account, since most I've looked at have their photos, website link, and rate info on their P411 profiles. I guess if there's a way to cheat the system, unfortunately, someone will do it.

That's very unsafe because you don't know who you're really verifying and meeting!

Someone needs to contact P411 and ask them about this.

John Goode is a P 411 member in good standing with multiple okays. His buddy Joe Schmuck is either a newbie, a guy on BL's, or simply someone who can get screened on his own.

Joe wants to see Debbie of Dallas, but can't get through screening so he asks his buddy John to book an appointment for him with Debbie, but in John's name in order to pass screening. Joe of course is the guy who shows up and Debbie has no way of knowing she is not actually seeing "not so Goode John" unless she asks him to show ID to prove he is indeed John Goode and not some Joe Schmuck.

That is why "some" women insist on seeing ID when seeing a new client. It's still not the norm for P 411 ladies to ask for ID and I personally don't encounter it more than one or two times out of a hundred. Personally I don't blame the ladies for doing so, and quite frankly it wouldn't bother me a bit if it became common practice.

I am lazy, as long as I don't have to "jump through hoops" I don't care what the ladies do to screen me. I am very much a P 411 fan, as 98%+ of my dates require nothing more than my P 411 Okays (I have dozens of them) to book an appointment. If they want to do further checking, or want to see my ID at the door, I am fine with that. But if a provider expects me to "apply to see her" I am moving on to the next girl on my list.

smart ladies always verify :)

The provider can verify the ID # on the drivers license if she wishes before going into the room.  I for one have never had this asked of me, however am aware and comfortable with the possibility.
As a client p411 is my reference service of choice then TER whitelists.

GaGambler562 reads

but very few providers actually do this, I have seen maybe 3-400 women through P 411 and no more than a half dozen at "MOST" ever asked me to do so.

I did want to explain how the process worked and how a non member could "share" a membership with another guy and not get caught unless the provider checked his ID.

I am not a fan of date check as the site was a mess when I was a member and people I had no clue who was, was checking out my profile. Not very discreet in my book canceled my membership as people I am not booking need not be looking who I have seen and have not seen.

Most ladies I talked to don't take white lists on this site seriously so I never asked for one.

The other three are fine by me. I give all ladies recent references, employment info, real full name and if members of P411 my P411 info. I want them to feel comfortable seeing me and have nothing to hide from those I see.

P411 is wonderful and super easy. Also Whitelist is great to. These 2 are super simple to use to verify and have no probelms ever.

Also sharing p411 is not permitted (meaning you will lose your account if you get caught doing it.)  Of course that probably doesn't stop people.  But since p411 is paid, the payer risks losing his reputation if he shares it with an unreliable buddy.

I like how they work, even if they are a little expensive.

You can check out my booking form on my site. Personally, I have three different booking forms.

1. Companion References Booking Form: I ask for two companion references within the past 6-8 months AND the client may share their handles on P411, TER, Date-Check, etc.

2. Employment Verification Booking Form: For the clients that may be new to our world.

3. Pre-Screening Form: This is for the clients that want to meet, they just don't have a solid date in mind or we are based in two different locations. This comes in handy.

Your website is spectacular! Your fun personality shines through. Thank you, London, for the link to your booking forms.

GaGambler626 reads

I have said many times, I am VERY lazy. IMO it's your job to make things easy for me, not the other way around. When the shoe is on the other foot and I am the seller, not the buyer, it's incumbent on me to make it easy for my client. I would never dream of making a client jump through hoops in order to do business with me.

That said. I don't necessarily mind providing the information asked for, although MANY guys with wives, bosses, kids, et al most definitely are chary about providing personal info. But there is a saying that is very apropos here

"I will beg for pussy, I will pay for pussy, but I will NOT beg to pay for pussy"

The moment it looks like a provider is valuing her time over mine is the moment I lose all interest in booking with her. I am spending hundreds of dollars an hour, I am not going to fill out an "application in full" for the privilege of doing so. Some guys have no problems filling out these forms, but MANY others share my opinion and will simply move on to a provider with more respect for our time.

You of course are free to run your business in any manner you see fit, but I thought you should be aware of how many of your prospective clients feel about these matters.

In part for the reasons you mention, in part because I am not ordering a pizza online. Booking forms generally suck and an email with the right info should suffice.

It counts as a negative when making my mind up on who I see. In fact I don't recall ever filling one out. Hoops sick and they speak to a ladies personality in an unfun way. At least in my mind. I will send more than enough info to screen me but forms are a pain. Like you I will jump through hoops to make a sale, but to spend my fun money, I'll pass. Email or P411 is best for me as I have a base email I just update and send to new ladies it literally takes 3 minutes. Forms take much longer. I don't like the idea of filling an application just to spend my money.

references and then p411 only. I'm a little lazy too and p411 is simple. It already has all of my current reference info. Between that and ter reviews, I feel there's enough information to verify me.

Then how would we screen you? I give a phone option and ask that for those who hate forms this is the info I will need to verify you via a pre-arranged phone call. Im pretty straightforward on the screening? Yes? Thoughts?

Tippecanoe705 reads

1)  The phone goes to a receptionist, and if she doesn't pick it up it goes down a waterfall of women answering the phone.  They are nosey as hell, and if strange women keep asking for me, well pretty obvious what is going on.  They aren't stupid, and suspicious and gossipy to begin with so no, not going to happen.

2)  There are phone records, and a previous employer monitored our computers and calls.  So your number is going to show up as an escort unless you are using a different phone than listed.  Most if not all escorts who have contacted me used their listed phone number.

3)  And no, I'm not going to let you know where I work because BSC women out there.  The last thing I need is for you to show up at my place of employment.

4)  Regardless of what is said, escorts in general don't delete information.  In general, escorts are not going to want to reverify a client every time they see them.  Repeat clients show-up based on their contact info and thus are pre-screened.  The Rolodex is money.

P411 is the easiest.  Only if I really want to see a girl will I give a reference, because that always takes awhile and last girl I had an appointment with and I was approved, had to cancel last minute.  So, wasted time for everybody.

Finally, level of screening depends on where you're working.  LEO is a big concern in certain cities, so would screen appropriately.  Safety is #1 concern, so P411 paired w/ something else in those areas.

Excellent post!! I'm with you all the way on this one!! (And yes, I had a provider show up at my place of employment once---holy shit WHAT an embarrassment--don't know how I wriggled my way out of that mess!!)

That qualifies as BSC.
What did she expect?  That you take her to your office and do it right there?
what did you tell your co workers?

LMAO!! She did, indeed, reveal herself to be a bit BSC!! In retrospect--a lot of it was my fault because after our date she started calling me on the phone periodically and rather than recognize the warning signals I would chat with her. I think she thought she could maybe cross the line into something more than just a provider/client arrangement.

I sure learned my lesson on that experience!! (I told the receptionist she was "someone I met" awhile ago and had decided not to pursue things further--or something to that affect. And I also apologized for the intrusion!! Thankfully, I got her ass out the door before any of the brass spotted her. The receptionist was really cool about it--lucky for me LOL!!)

If guys don't want to sign up with the verification sites they can use references or employment or just don't chose you.

Good job.

I guess I can live with out seeing a provider.

GoogleWasMyIdea547 reads

There are only a few ladies who do ask for your real name when booking and then ask for ID on meeting. I understand this, but won't see them. Only once or twice did I have to drop from my short list someone who I really wanted to see because of this.

Speaking totally contrary to the above - as someone else pointed out, guys have been known to share P411 accounts. It happens very rarely, but it does happen. The last four digits of a P411 account are the last four digits of the user's driver's license number, so if you are super cautious you could demand ID to verify the guy you are seeing is the P411 owner.

My suggestion: Allow multiple screening methods but decide if you are newbie friendly are not. If you choose NOT then require a provider reference and actually take the time to check it. If you are newbie friendly one option is to require a coffee date (say $100 for up to 30 min, which can be credited to date that day) and if you get bad vibes, leave.

Good luck!!!

P411 seems to be the simplest and most reliable. Recent references are also pretty easy and reliable, especially if used along with P411 and TER Whitelists.  Date-Check used to be on par with P411 (my opinion), but since the site changed I have found it to be worthless for me as a client.

Work references are not possible for many. Those with security clearances, etc... probably can't (shouldn't) go for work verification.

I like to know who I am spending my time with so I ask for name, town, and age. Definetly discourages alot of fellows but our safety is really, really improtant to me.
P411 and Date-check would be close alternatives, along with a reference from a known companion.

After all, I am alone with a stranger doing ...what??????

I find that most guys who are in higher profile positions are more apt to share who they are.......
Humm. Let us contemplate that awhile. I wonder if that is just my imagination or if it is really true?

Guess it all depends on the companion and the gentleman.

While i'll use some of the above, I truly prefer having your real name and number and check that against the BL. Why i don't trust people's DC or TER username or p411, is because its so each to just switch personas, switch usernames, and completely abandon an old name or account for a new one. But you can't abandon your real name. Also there are guys that have done terrible things yet are still on p411, datecheck and have references with TER white list.

About the last 10 ladies I have asked for an OK have accepted p411 an TER.  I do offer to send provider references if they want.  I do have a lot of OK's and whitelists.   Maybe that helps.

A hobbyist with a good board presence as well as provider references is always a plus for me since i would be able to verify him to a point where we all feel comfortable enough. Last thing I want is a bad egg to slip thru the cracks and ruin the party for everyone else.

Happy Hobbying

I'd rather trust the provider that a service that could get hacked.   I just give the provider my real world info and TER ID.  Think about it.  Sites like Ashley Madison or RS2K are targets for hackers who want to get a mailing list of customers and then blackmail them.

Now that is a refreshing opinion. Thank you!

Because it was brought up in several posts, some guys share a P411 account - If I use P411 and also ask for a potential client's legal name and request to see his ID, is this going to make me lose a lot of business?

and as long as you're hot of course too. lol

Some guys are absolutely terrified of giving potential blackmail material to any provider, and yes some of them will refuse to comply with your request, but I would say if you are reputable, have decent reviews and no history of being BSC, not too many guys will bail on you if that is what you chose to require.

And I do just fine. Sure, I get the occasional "my P411 Okays should be sufficient" asshole, but the vast majority of guys are cool with providing me whatever I need to feel safe and comfortable. Having strict screening requirements hasn't affected my bottom line one bit. In fact, I regularly attract clients who tell me they chose me BECAUSE I'm extra cautious.

No matter what, go with whichever verification protocol that makes YOU comfortable. It's your body, your safety, and your rules, after all. :)

But I am fine with it. BTW the number part should be on his drivers license or other ID. The name can be covered and he can show just the number to verify he is who he claims. I think P411 fraud would be somewhat rare but I imagine that it does happen. Anyway I have zero issues showing my ID or giving real name.

I personally would never see someone who asked for my real name.

One thought, though, is to go case by case. Don't say you require ID in your ad, and if someone is clearly OK (you get a good vibe from their mail and they have 20 P411 OKs, 10+ TER whitelists, and three references that check out) leave it at that. If you are a bit nervous, you can ask for the ID to compare with the P411 account.

Recent experiences of mine: set up a date, in the final confirmation the (very fine and highly experienced) lady asked for my real name. I said I wouldn't provide that, she wrote back and said not to worry about it. We had a great time and I look forward to giving her a great review.

FWIW

There are many ways to check P411, and not necessarily just ID.  ID is the safest, but its set-up so you can verify if the client balks at showing a driver's license.

I think I might prefer date them lol

I rely on references. For me, they're the gold standard. If you really want to know who I am, go to the source. I find its better (just as good?) as an OK.

My relationships with providers has never let me down and what some may find hard to believe, I'd had several agency owners vetting me with independent gals. This business is like any successful business, it's all about relationships. Be nice. Play Nice. Stay nice.

I've been using Date Check, but I also include my TER handle when I send my screening info.  So far, those have been sufficient and I haven't been asked for additional references.

In the past, I've also used RS-AVS, since that has been required by many providers in my home area.  Although, I'm no longer using RS-AVS until I'm sure that they are safe.
