Isn't that a good thing?

Maybe none of you served but from what I recall, most soldiers don't have private insurance only what is offered by the military.  Why is it wrong to hold the VA accountable for doing what it was established to do?  Why is it important to save the VA 530 million dollars? Who's pockets are we trying to fatten up?

These men and women in uniform serve to protect our country many are hurt and worse killed, leaving behind families.  How do we repay them?  By billing their private insurance companies for medical expenses for injuries incurred while serving our country?  That seems fair to you?

At most that decision should be left up to the soldiers and their families.  Especially when it comes to things like lost limbs, etc.  Perhaps going to see a doctor with in their private insurance company for treatment would be better, consider the VA isn't exactly know for it's quality of doctors and service.  BUT they should also be compensated at least a percent of what they pay through that company.  As far as treating for post traumatic stress, I'm sorry but this should be the VA's area of expertise.

Shame on anyone that thinks that our soldiers should have to face any type of financial burden for pain and suffering they went through for us.

the old lick the finger and stick it in the air to see which way the wind is blowing a al WJC? Or just a good quick reaction to being informed that you are a dumb ass and a light weight?

perhaps all of the clumsiness and ineptitude of late is merely an attempt to draw liberal's focus off of Iraq and Afghanistan!

More like sticking his finger up his ass and seeing what he pulls out!
