thanks for all the responses.  It's very interesting to see
people's answers and how they arrived at them.  Some of the
most interesting responses were the justifications for doing
the wrong thing.

Kudos to Sedona, HarryLime, and ChrissyStone, and of course
Staff for getting the correct answer and explaining why.

Hmmm. In a real world where there are really few ethical "rights" and "wrongs" your casual use of both terms is interesting.

You can say we came to see what the prevailing policy is.  And most have accepted the prevailing view.

No-one here can really cast stones in any direction...

I wasn't referring to an abstract notion of ethics that your
first line alludes to.  I was referring to a very specific
question where there is a clear right and wrong so I wasn't
using the term casually.

Again, the people who were "right" explained why.  Sedona's
post was the most succinct but I like HarryLime's use of the
stock broker example.  If you have a explanation why this isn't
unethical, then explain why.

You can bet that the prevailing policy wasn't arrived at by
flipping a coin.  It's the policy because of a good reason.
Ethics is not subject to a vote.

Not sure what you mean by "No-one here can really cast stones in
any direction".  It was a specific question that anyone is free
to answer, not an accusation against anyone in particular.
Asking the  questioning or answering it is not throwing stones
at anyone.

Well Like I pointed out if a lady who was not on the board has not been reviewed and wanted me to get her on here via a review, I would do it for a discount. Why?  Because I will not take a chance on someone without reviews. Its a guarantee I don't get taken.  However any review I would have posted would have been an honest one. Why again you ask. Because I don't lie, my reviews are based on my experience. Free or discounted. I am not going to write a glowing review on a lousy fuck.  I am not going to burn the next guy to see her who is expecting something close to what I get.

On the other hand That gets her an initial listing, what she gets from there on out is based on how well she performs.

But realisticly now, I am no Pauly Walnuts. My reviews are not the best written.  I lack the writting skills many of the fellow members her have.

Nobody is going to pick me out of the crowd for that reason.

So really my argument is totaly moot for that reason.

Staff has a very good reason.  A freebie for a good review.....Bad idea.

A freebie for a glowing review on an average session, very bad idea.

Reviews should be honest and not fluffed up.
