I have a hard time with girls who look like girls I know.

There is one girl who comes to Raleigh pretty often, and she's gorgeous, but she looks so much like my daughter-in-law that I just can't pull the trigger on making a date with her. Another girl looks almost exactly like a sister-in-law of mine that I never liked, and I wouldn't dream of making a date with her for that reason.

Anyone else ever have that problem? What did you do about it?

Took me ages to overcome the perceived resemblance.  Avoided booking because of that, even though was only certain aspects that reminded me.

After getting to know her on the boards it became clear she's a very different person and the connection to Mom started to fade away.  Finally booked a session, and we talked about it during, but without a doubt I'm glad to get over the initial hesitation so I could meet a wonderful lady.  The brain is a weird thing sometimes.

And no, there was no oedipal fantasy role play.  It was more along the lines of meeting a girl your mother warned you about!

try not to think about it but every time I see him it's kinda weird at moment

So I made this date last year and the lady sounded just like a friends girl friend. This friends girlfriend has no job so I got a little spooked, but it all worked out and was my best time.
