Baby powder is carcinogenic?

I know some massage gals use talcum powder, so from now on, switch to oil or at least corn starch

geared towards women who have used baby powder, especially "down there" and got ovarian cancer? I see them regularly during the day and late at night on TV.

Ladies, please avoid it for your health if you do that.

There was one--and only one--case in which a rogue jury awarded money to a woman with ovarian cancer claimed to have been caused by liberal use of talcum powder.  While talc miners get a disease called "white lung" similar to coal workers pneumokoniosis, the development of white lung requires a large volume of air-borne dust over a long period of time.  There is NO RESPONSIBLE SCIENCE linking the casual use of talcum powder to ovarian cancer.  What you're seeing is a bunch of scum-sucking bottom-feeders preying on fear

Isn't that the definition of "lawyer?"

BTW, mrfisher still isn't one. :)

I saw another article today about this.

Apparently the scientific evidence linking talc and cancer is very tenuous at best.

So, don't freak out over it just yet.

Still and all, I'm sticking to my almond oil. Talc massages are meh at best
